I take a look in discussions here, and i saw that not to many people use the pictures when they start or answer new discussions.
Do you think that is nice to use pictures? Count for you?
And if you use some pictures you all time try to post pictures who can say something about your idea or about your answer?
Any way , is important how a discussion look like, i am right?
Presentation i mean...do you really look to the picture in a new discussion?

Hello icesmile,
I am pretty lazy in this thing. So far I haven't uploaded any pictures in any discussions and not in the response too. I bother to search for the picture i wont. That is pretty lazy task to do, search here and there for the appropriate picture. If I remember I have the best suited picture for my discussion, I may do it. But till now I have never done that.
It is certainly not compulsory to add pictures in a discussion. But if you are not lazy and you add it, then it is better. Also the earning becomes nice with uploading appropriate pictures I hope.
happy mylotting...

hmmmm ive only posted pictures when i was trying to show people my work on piercings. other than that i dont really use pictures. i guess the only reason i used it was to show what i was talking about. i dont think i would use that feature for any other reason.

When I've just started and post a new discussion I have used many pictures, but since I was pregnant and had baby I had no time even just posting a
new discussions!!
I agree with you, pictures helps in many ways and I look to the pictures in a new discussion when I reply. If the person made a great presentation with pictures I make sure to let them know what they did was great

I always post a picture when i start a new discussion. I think it is wise to do so because sometimes the titles that we give for the discussion may not be attractive so people might ignore the discussion, but sometimes even though the title is not good people might get attracted by looking at the picture.

Hi ice!
No I don't add photos to the discussions ever. If there are photos in the discussions I am reading then I will look at them. I don't feel that a photo is always necessary though unless it is the reason behind the discussion.

If it is relevant to the discussion then it definately makes it more interesting yes and if it's colourful it brightens up the page but just adding a photo to make it colourful when it is not relevant seems pointless to me. Many discussions have some funny photos and they are worth adding.

I like taking pictures and I like sharing them - however, I can't seem to be able to do this "starting a discussion with pictures." I've tried before and it didn't work. Sort of bummed about that.
I think it's nice to post pictures - especially in the travel section. That's where I post most of my pics. Mainly to see what people are talking about - if they're asking/talking about a specific place.
I think it all depends on what topic - like for example this one, what kind of picture would you post for this one that would stimulate and encourage people to respond? Y'know what I mean, jelly bean!
cheers! =)

I don't always post pictures with new discussions unless I have a picture that directly relates to the discussion I want to post. If I just have a picture I wish to post, but no real discussion to go around it, I'll post it in the appropriate interest, write a caption, and post some tags to go with it.

I for one hardly ever post pictures while starting or replying to new discussions. If I have a good picture that supplements the discussion, I may as well use it but definitely never post one when there's no real need. Also, I find it odd when people actually download photos from the internet to post them on MyLot just for the sake of earning that extra buck. I know a few newbies who do so and this really amazes me to see how desperate people can be at times.

Yeah, i do upload photos on my discussion. I think it's a good practice because it creates an identity on our discussion. Plus it looks more organized and a lot more interesting. Isn't it that we also gain a few cents for uploading photos? If that's the case then it's also a profitable practice. Yeah, i do look on the picture because some myLotters are creative enough to come up with an interesting photo.

Well i do most of the time when i do start my topic. I thought that will give an additional credit to our account, lolz! But anyway it is interesting to add some picture specially if it relates to the topic itself.
Sometimes i also add a photo when i answer a friend's discussion here. Anyway i did that as a help and i wanted to show to her what i mean so i added the photo.
But it does not matter if you posted a picture or not, as long as the topic is interesting enough to discuss and people can relate to it, then by no means, post it anyway.

No I don't the uploading process is mundane and probably it gets me only 1 cent. In the time that it takes for me to upload the picture I could have already made three cents discussing. Second reason is that mostly doesn't add much to a discuss unless you try to clarify a subject.
