I always go back to the discussion that I started. Why I doing this?
1. I want to check if there is new comment on it.
By doing so, I can reply any of this new comment. This is the way I try to communicate with you all my friend. And of course I can still earn by doing it.
2. Check for a new idea.
Sometime when I need new idea on certain topic, I will go back to the discussion not only which I started but also by someone else. You certainly can get a new idea if you look on the right topic available. This is also a main reason I join a mylot. Sometimes that idea actually worth a million dollar. but you can get free here :).
3. To show you all that I care.
I really appreciate whenever you comment on my topic.
Do you do the same and for what reason?

It has become a habitual affair for me to go back to discussions I have started. It will prolong the shelf life of your discussion when you add your counter comments. The discussion seems to reincarnate when you add a fresh comments to your respondents. It will go on and on as long as there are fresh comments or response adding up to your discussions. I mean it will never be placed on the back stage but it will continue to attract responses. Sometimes I will not finish my comments to my respondents in one day. I will drag my time to give out my comments as this will ensure the discussion is kept alive. Take for example this post of yours, though it was posted 3 months ago but someone just responded to it and it resurface making it possible for me to view it and give my response. Going back to your old discussions has its advantage as it will be exposed once more.

Hi zandi,
This post appear again after I give a best response to my only responder. Just because he said thank you, I should thanks him for doing it. I got another extra responses. And the most important thing is to keep this discussion appear on our friends "friends started" tab and "my interests" tab. This is a good practice especially if we have some discussion which is still relevant with today situation.

Hi akuler,
Yes, i always go back to my discussion. The reason of doing that? Firstly, check the new comments on it, especially the comments beyond my imagination, which can broad my mind. If i find a good comment or a comment beyond my mind, i will be very happy. secondly, just like you said, show those responders that i really about their responses.
By the way, can you do me a favor? If you are available, please review my discussion of "human-powered search engine. do you hear it" and tell me if it is attractive to others. Why nobody care about it? I am so disappointed that the discussion received no responses, as it is my best favorite discussion.
Happy mylotting!

Hi ranjith,
Before this, I always check on my previous discussions. I want to see if there is anything I can do to it like give a comment on the response(s) it receive or give a best response if I did not done it yet.
But due to my internet connection problem, I rarely log in to mylot and more so to involve in any discussion.
But you do a right thing. Keep it up.
