How to improve concentration?

Do you have any tips on improving our concentration? I think one can improve one's concentration by meditation and yoga and other mind controlling techniques. Of course much depends on our own attitude towards life.

To improve your concentration,you can try to eat some foods like blueberry,date.It will give you good thingking and healthy brain.Maybe it will help improve your concentrations because good concentrations come from good brain.Thank you.

Focus and steady. In basketball game I keep on shouting free throw. And I'm won the game in dying minutes. Timely basket because of too much practice makes perfection. When I tired I do meditation and thinking what should I do to make it right on my certain goal. And I can make it with prayer to the Lord our God.

First practice with the concentration of clear mind and focus on one thing. This can be done at the time of your prayer or meditation. Then you can practice so that the concentration increased the quality and quantity. You can use all your senses. An example of increasing the quantity of concentration is when you speak while you listen and observe. While improving the quality of the sample concentration is to train you to be hearing more sensitive, to a distance.

I think YOga is one of the good ways to improve our concentration. Because Yoga helps you to learn how to breath properly, and lead you to listen to your body and your mind. That really helps from my experience. Hope this will help!

Beside having a good night sleep and exercises, you can also do this simple practice. Draw a dot, about 5 cm in diameter on a wall. Stare at the dot (your must be atleast 1 meter apart from the dot), stare at it for a long time and do not let your mind get distracted by other thoughts. Keep your focus on the dot, at first it may be difficult, but after sometimes, when your focus has got stronger, you'll find this exercise to be very easy.

Some thing that should help you to improve your concentration: try to sleep at least 8 hours a day, try to eat healthy.
