For MOMS: What's the best gift that a daughter can give you?

My Mother's 50th birthday birthday is coming up on the 17th, and i was thinking of what i'm going to get her for a gift. A camera phone, i was thinking... or that purse that would go well with the church dress i got her on Mother's day. Then it suddenly struck me, i've been giving Mother things that I felt she might like, or things i assume she needs. But have i give her something that she really wants? Something that would make her feel really love and appreciated like she deserves to? What would YOU, as a mom, would really love to receive from your child?

yeye888 . this is an easy one .. . As a mother and a daughter I know that the most important things are not material ones. .you can not buy the best present with money . . it is your heart and what is in it. It is unconditional love and respect. For my mom this year I made her a scrapbook. .. and in it I filled the pages with memories of things she taught me and pictures to go along side my words of love, In it I also had pictures of her granddaughters and pictures of her mom and her grandmother. And as an extra added bonus because this scrapbook was made for her I gathered pictures of all the people in her life that she has loved and loves. While she looked through it I could see I made the right choice in what I gave to her. For not only was it beautiful memories for her it was something she could cherish every day and one day pass on to my daughter. She knew I made it and gave it to her with love..... And what better present is there in this world of ours:)

For me, i think the greatest gift that ever given to a mom that she would surely proud of is no other than " a child". Everyone of us is a perfect gift to our mother. i don't know if other wouldn't agree with my opinion but for me that's what i think. And for you yeye888 i think you should give your mom a child...yes! give her a grandchild! i'm sure she would be surprised!

if that's the case, then i guess i can never give my Mother that 'perfect gift' since i am barren and will never be able to produce an offspring. Do you have any more wonderful suggestions? Let's hear it.

Well.. I'm only a daughter so far. And I think the best I've given my mother was a gift certificate to a spa. Just a suggestion. :)

From my child, the best gift they can give me is their love...

Right... but sometimes, words just isn't enough. Sometimes i feel like i've used up the words 'i love you' too much and too often that the words somehow lost its weight... Have you had that feeling too?

Nothing beats the words I love you. Not even the most expensive gift can replace those three important words. Daughters are precious to their moms. They came from them and the love for them is unconditional. As daughters we must try our best to be good daughters and never give mothers headache.
