Should mylot do something about the tags?

We have the possiblity of adding tags and if we use the tagging system properly we can increase the views to our own discussions. Not many users seem to have realised this yet though. If, for example, we are posting in a particular interest, then if we tag all those discussions, whether we start them or respond on them, with the same tags, then they will show up in the columnn on the right under 'similar discussions' when a discussion is open. The discussion at the top of the list is the one which has received a comment or response more recently so all we have to do is keep ours up to date and they will continue receiving responses and there will be no need to keep starting new ones. Beleive me it works as I have at least six of mine with responses this week and all of them were started months ago In conclusion to answer your question, I am perfectly happy the way things are right now.

it is a good idea though but you know guys putting tag on a discussion can help on our earnings here since its a part of our participation but if mylot would take your suggestion then i guess it means its our lost.. not to argue with you about this but i am contented with what the current system has. if something i want in mylot to focus is on gathering more tasks for us.. Your comments about this are welcome..

I don't know. I don't bother with tags myself. It is just another unecsscary step as far as I am concerned. I only like to use tags if they are very important to the discussion.

Hi there. I think it's a very good idea. Well, maybe this could serve as an enhancement but not literally replace the old system. Two heads are better than one. I mean, I think it would be a lot better if it would work two way. I like your idea though. I hope mylot admin sees this...

That is a great idea. Automatic tags would save us time as well. Kudos to you!
