Hello everyone!!!
Well most of the people say that we should learn from the good habits of a person. Whenever a person does something good, then the one would say, learn something from him.
But in my case, I find rather learning from bad habits is more effective in my case. This doesn't mean that I don't learn from the good habits, but mostly the things learnt from bad habits become more practical to me.
For example, when I see person drinking to unconsciousness. I can see him causing problem to every one and himself. Even they shout and shout, make so much irritating noise. So this make me feel like never take such things. And so, I don't drink.
A friend may say, I did this and failed the exam, and so I can learn not to make that mistake.
So from which you learn more. From the good habits or the bad habits of the other person?

I think we should not miss out any learning opportunities and that both good and bad habits are chances to learn from. As you have pointed out how bad habits of others can inspire you what you should do well.
In fact, I always believe that we learn from the mistakes and failures rather than success. You make mistakes, you do something wrong so you learn that what you should do in order not to make the same mistakes again. You fail now, so you learn that doing something will fail and therefore you do better next time.
So, go ahead, grab every chance to learn and improve yourself. Others ignoring the chance to learn from the bad simply is lagging behind of us in terms of improving.

Yes, you are right faisai, failures are the pillars of success. The mistakes led us to learn many things and correct the mistakes in the future. So, we should really learn from mistakes rather than just getting frustrated and angry with our mistakes.
Not only from mistake, we have to learn from success too. Oh! the best thing becomes, learn from the experience hehe...
Thanks for your nice response faiasi...happy mylotting...

The thing to remember is you are never too clever or too old to learn, from everything around you, not just good and bad habits. You can of course learn from both, but I think bad habits deliver the more powerful lesson, because the consequences can be dreadful. If we strive to be the best person we can, and are sincere and honest with ourselves and others, we make the world a better place in our own small way. If only everyone would do that!

Hello Sandra1952!!!
Yes, as because the consequences are dire, we learn most effectively from bad habits. Every one likes to be good person, learn new things, but sometimes, they again themselves keep doings mistakes. I also do mistakes, and mistakes happen my mistake. However, out experience teaches us lot of things. And yes, if everyone would have tried their best to be good, this world have been so beautiful, and peaceful that we cannot imagine in this cruel world...

I say learning is good always and you might prefer learning from bad habits than good habits, that is entirely your call. I like to build good habits rather than bad ones. Even then, good habits can also tie you down. Cheers!!
