sharpening scissors

I've got two pair of scissors, one pair is a clausse and the other is a cheap pair of dollar store scissors, is there anyway i can sharpen them from home? They are so dull!

i have heard from someone that if you use the scissors on a glass bottle, as if to cut the bottle with the scissor then they get a bit sharp and useable. i have not tired it as yet. anyways, if it works then please let me know.

If I'm not too late with ideas I suggest you could try sanding paper or sanding block. Sanding blocks are used to sharpen knives, so it should work for scissors too.

you could try scraping the bluntness against a rock, i guess in the olden times when cave men were about thats all they had to sharpen things with.lol
