on the weekends, or do you play it by ear? Usually,we have some plan for the weekend. Even if it is shopping and yard work. We try and have family movie night then too. What are your plans?

We just play it by ear and try not to plan to far ahead because it seems as soon as we do something happens to mess those plans up royally and so we try to not to plan to much and play it by ear as you said. Just works better for us that way.

I like to leave things open. You never really know how everyone is going to feel and it rather stinks to have committed yourself and then find out you feel like having a pajama day.

We usually just play it by ear because my husband and I both work seven days a week and the weather is always changing. We always try to enjoy the weekends though and get stuff done too.

I really never have plans for the weekend. What I did have before I moved was a routine. On Friday night I would chill with my mom and grandma. We would talk about our week, friends, laugh and joke until the wee hours of the morning. The rest of the weekend was played by ear. I would just lounge around the house with my kids until Monday came along. Now, since I have moved out of my grandmother's house, I have no routine. I haven't been back to chill with my mom and grandma, but this is only the second weekend I've been gone so I might start that back up again. I didn't have any plans yesterday, and the only plan I have for today is to go to the grocery store. Funny thing is, tomorrow is my birthday, and I have neither the money nor the childcare to do anything *sniff*. This is the one weekend that I was supposed to have plans.

Hello ersmommy. I don't have always plans for the weekends, but this weekend, I will have to work for some plans for the next week. If I am prepared for it, it will be easier for me with the work to be carried out next week. You know, I am a teacher and I will prepare for the final-term examination paper these days. The final-term examination is drawing near. I need to hurry up to finish the paper first. This is one of my main plans for this weekend. Enjoy your weekend, friend.

We usually play it by ear, except for about one weekend a month. A friend of ours has a heated pool, and she will usually invite the whole gang over to swim, cookout and socialize at least one Saturday or Sunday a month. It's a great time. And we get to see each other all summer long, even if it is just once a month or so. Other than that, we don't usually do a whole lot unless we are going out of town. We will work in the yard, or wash the car. But no specific plans and no specific time to do anything. That way, if someone calls, we are usually pretty free. I hope you have a great weekend!

I don't ever have a plan. I am boring that way. I do have a few things to do in the morning tomorrow, but then after that nothing. My son just left with my sister out of the state for a few weeks. It is just me and my daughter now. Tonight is movie night for the 2 of us. Tomorrow after about noon? Who knows? That is usually how my weekends work.

Normally we make it up as we go. We do try to do something every Sunday, even if it's just going to the playground together, but we always do something. It's our family day. Last week we went hiking. Some weeks we'll go to the zoo because we have a membership and get in for free. This week we'll probably just do the playground because we don't have spending cash or extra gas money due to our bills. We also do movie nights, usually Saturday and Sunday.

The only kinds of plans I have ever made was doctor appointments. I have never been able to keep plans and stick with them cause something always happens. Also on a weird note, it always turns out to be funner that way.

Hello, good day to you. Having plans makes us have sure things to do during weekends. Sometimes if there is an occasion coming, we make plans for the coming weekend and prepare for it. My mother goes to the market together with my father, they cook food, sometimes we go out, just depending on the plan. If the weather is not good, we opt to stay at home. If there is no occasion or something we need to do, we just rest at home and enjoy the weekend off. Sometimes not planning makes us enjoy the weekend more, because of the unexpected happenings, but sometimes planning also makes us prevent incidents that might happen. It is still our decision if we are going to plan or not, just keep in mind that we would be still enjoying our weekend, planned or not.

I have no particular plans, and if i do something it is not always because i plan it already beforehand. There are times i plan what to do next day, next week or next month, and i have to take it down so that i have a record of it in case i forget it.
