actually at the beginning I didn't like it too much,it's a dark atmosphere.
while as the story went,I've been adicted to it.the world is not simply seperated by so-called righteousness and evil.Light originally wanted use his oun way to punish the criminals, but finally he goes the wrongway, and he LOST hinself.
L and light, they are likely to be friends, but forever enemy.
How do think of them, which is your favorate character.BTW:in your country,is it able to be played on TV?

definitely one of the best animes ever made!
i know, it has this really dark feel to it, but i guess its necessary since we see Kira's point of views.. :)
i also think its sad the bit were Kira HAD to kill L..
they would've been great working together..*sigh*
also, Kira was left all alone in the end..tsk tsk..
it is certainly NOT viewable in our national tv..
we have a lot of younger ones watching animes they sort a put up stuff like naruto, Princess Sarah, Cedie and the like..
REALLY kiddie stuff..hehe..

One of my all time favorite anime. very intelligent, and made me wonder which I believed to be more in the right. The anime, and manga are both excellent, but NEVER watch the live action version. It screws up the storyline, and would be impossible to follow if you hadn't read the manga or seen the anime. L is the coolest.

I really like deathnote, however i think that Kira is evil, the way he kills off the police officers isn't right. My favourite character has to be L. I like the way he is sort of the mad genius. HE is clever, but he doesn't go around acting like he needs to be a "god of the new world" and all of that. Infact, i would go as far as to say that i think the real bad guy is Kira, or light. He may have started of good, but i think he is slowly disintergrating, and becoming the very thing he set out to destroy. It wouldn't surprise me to much if in the end, he writes his own name in the deathnote!
