I plan to concentrate on earning empty title bonus for the next few months. The idea took seed after knowing that, we need only 25% of the articles in competitive titles, the remaining 75% can earn empty title bonus.
After thinking about it, I'm very sure I can suggest a few hundred titles to Helium, and write the article while waiting for the title to become live.
In fact, the idea grows to the stage that I am confident of achieving this goal. So I suggest a title "How to Earn Empty Title Bonus for 75% of Your Articles in Helium", happily the title is approved, and I earn the empty title bonus for it.
Please add on to the title, hope to read how your experience and tips in earning from empty title in Helium.

Thats a great idea for a title, I am sure it will earn you decent revenue. I am trying my hardest to write more and more but lately motivation is just not there. However these past few days I have noticed an increase in page view payments so hopefully this will give me the push to write more.
As for empty titles there are so many areas to write too that are not covered on Helium. I was planning to write on popular sports topics, pick an empty title, and promote my articles to see how much I could earn. I havent got around to doing this yet but hopefully will before the month is out. I may add an articles on to your title but for now I need to improve my writing score in order to get bigger upfront payments.

Hi Heartbreaker, I think it's a good idea to write about niche subjects, especially on the titles that are not available in Helium yet, you face less competition, and non-competitive title does not affect writing score.
Plus it provides a few more leapfrogs.
Maybe you can write to empty title nearer end of the month, and get the writing score up earlier in the month.

I write under Lauramarie. What is your helium pen name.
Scheng I used to do that, write on whatever for the first 3 weeks of the month and then during the last week of the month I focused on empty titles and also tried to increase my writing score. I now have 95 articles, so if I do three more I will be eligible for 3 stars. I used to have a writing score 0f 88% but now it is at 83%. Shouldnt take too much work to get that over 85% and get me my bonus star again

Hi, did you repost the articles in AC? I have not received any notification from AC.
Wow, if you reach 100th article, plus the bonus writing star, that will make it 4 writing stars!
My writing score is at 84.44%, not too worry about it yet, see how it goes, have to leapfrog a few articles by the third week of the month to push it over 85%

I saw your AC article today. I wrote to two empty titles so far and I have a list of others I would like to write to as soon as I get past my end of term program. I just have too much going on in my offline life sometimes but Mondays seem to be good writing days and sometimes even Fridays. On these days I can often crank out two articles.

Hi Canellita, your articles are in niche topics too. But pay attention to the percentage of articles in competitive titles. Suggest that you write to competitive title at beginning of the month, so that you have time to leapfrog, and maintain a high writing score.
I have more quotas, since I spent the first few months writing to competitive titles, right now the percentage of articles in competitive titles is 84%, unlikely to reach 25% anytime.

Hi Canellita, actually the bonus of writing to niche area is that you can keep the ranking at 1/1 for a long long time.
If there is no one writing to the article, the title will not become competitive, and drag down the writing score.
Since your articles are ranked so high, might as well save the leapfrogs. Leapfrogs only when the writing score for a particular article falls below 75%. The last ten percent of competitive titles are not taken into consideration. So do not leapfrog the worst performing article.

I think my writing score is 90.63%. Of my 19 articles all are ranked in the top 5 with the excpetion of the reflection which is 9 of 57. I may eventually leapfrog it but I have some other articles in progress and as long as everything else is ranked high I should not have to worry about one that is lower, right?
For 7 of the articles I am 1 of 1. Only three titles have more than 20 articles in them and all of the rest are less than 10. Does this mean I am lucky there is not much competition?
