Hiya guys, I was wondering how many of you watched/heard of Homicide: Life on the Streets. Known as H:LotS by the fans, and having the first bi male cop on television, it is one of the best programs I've ever seen. Kyle Secor (Some of you might know him as Geena Davis's 'first husband' on the show Commander in Chief.) plays the lovable, long limbed, adorable Tim Bayliss (The aforementioned bi male cop) and is the lead. He's the rookie, and he is partnered with the crabby slightly racist (In the almost too real but still this side of alright way) Frank Pembleton.(Andre Braugher is excellent and one of my favorite characters despite the slight racism toward white people.) The rest of the cast has delightful quirks, though there is enough angst to be spend heavily over every single character it is really a good watch.
When I say every character I mean every character. Though I wouldn't watch the seventh season a second time, it is one of the best television shows I've seen that went on for more than five seasons.

I was a huge fan of Homicide. And, Frank Pembleton was one of the best characters on tv. I also loved how the friendship with Baylis developed, starting with Pembleton not wanting anything to do with a partner, to him and Baylis becoming best friends.
I also remember their most famous and dynamic villain - Luthor Mahoney.
