Hi! I guess when you say "guys", you mean guys and girls, too. Anyhow, I'm a girl and I'm responding. Yes, so many different songs remind me of so many people from the past. I don't feel sad anymore because it's been such a long time. But I've had songs that would make me cry from the first note!! Good day!!

Music, and to a lesser extent movies, can stimulate wonderful memories, no matter how many years ago. I play some old songs and I'm reminded of past girlfriends. It doesn't have to be music and girlfriends, I downloaded an old movie, and as soon as it started it reminded me of a time way back in 1955, when I went to the movies with my mother and father. Wow! It was great to be reminded of such a happy time from so long ago. To me music and movies are like our inbuilt search engines.

I remember events more than people associated with songs. There was one song, my husband and I made love to and we were so involved we never heard the end of the song, I don't remember it's name. But it was a joke just between us.

Wheneve I hear the song from Kenny Rogers, "Through the Years", I remember my dad. He never runs out of kenny Rogers' CDs and what's amazing is that my cousin even gave him a photo of Kenny during his US concert tour.
