I am from the Philippines. I love my country so much because of the cultures, virtues that we practice. We give importance to close family ties. The families in the Philippines stay together and don't let their parents to be sent in some institution for elderly. The sons and daughters take care of them personally and never abandon them as they grow old. As I have said I am proud of my religion because we make Jesus Christ as the center of our life. I can't imagine my life without believing in one supernatural being who is the source of everything. My life will be hopeless and pointless without believing in Him. My country is not that perfect and prosperous but these are the things that I am proud of my county.

I am from Bangladesh. Though a small and poverty filled country, still I love it since its the country of my birth. It is not the most developed of the most peaceful country to live in yet there are many good things about Bangladesh like its history, its heritages, its culture and also its cheap price of cds/dvds and games (LOL, you can get recent movies, songs and games for $1). Everything would have been great if those pathetic government parties (who keeps on fighting and complaining about each other instead of giving time to the development of the country) would not have been there and some proper government who would actually develop this country would have been there.
But in the end, I love my country.

I live in the USA. To be exact, in Missouri. Love this country and this state. We do have many people here from other countries therefore various languages are spoken here. English is the first language and secondary would be Spanish. India has some very brilliant people. I've never been out of this country and am fine with that decision. Not particularly fond of flying. Enjoy the freedom in the US.

I am from the UK and I do like my country. I think that everybody must feel this about the country of their birth unless it is a violent country. We each get to learn to live with the various laws of our country and when we go to another country, feel strange when we come across a different set of laws that we are expected to follow.
So, I like my country because I know it, even though it has changed so much since I was young. - Derek

i'm from the Philippines... what's good about our country? well... the people here are very much hospitable... we value so much the happiness/satisfaction that we can contribute to other people... aside from that here in the Philippines, we have a lot of fantastic tourist spots, and believe me, if you happen to visit here surely you won't be spending too much cash... :)

I live in the Philippines. Even though our country is not prosperous and have a lot of problems with our government. Im still thankful that God let me live and grow up here. One thing that goods in my country is that we have good family tie. About inventions we really dont have because our government cant fund those inventions even though they're really helpful like hydrocars..it was invented by s filipino but our gov't didnt fund it, so he sold it to Japan, the fluorescent lamp was invented by Agapito Flores, a filipino too, but no fund as usual, he sold it in America.. Another things is that we are the only catholic christian country in the Southeast Asia.(even though im not a catholic but still a christian)We still have the good morals. And i think, its like we're free to do everything we want coz our laws were not quite obeyed..lol...even there are policemen who help in having order of our community, they are not that strict. Thats why some of our american and british friends here said that they love our country especially concerning money. When foreigners exchanges their money here its too big..
example:
$10=PHP400,
in that amount of money u can already have 8 meals..lol...Have a nice day...:D

I come from England. The best things about it are the old buildings and the green countryside. It has a beautiful coastline with some sandy coves and some pebbly beaches. It has a train system. It has a rich history and English Literature is really special. It is suffering in the recession at the moment and the worst thing about it is overly populated. The weather has four seasons but summer is a bit dull right now.

I'm in the Uk and to be honest I don't know what is good about my country!! I do like it here but there is a lot of superficial crap goes on over here. I live in a seaside resort that is near the countryside but we are near to 2 major cities so have the best of everything. There is nothing better than long walks on the beach or in the countryside looking at the pure Britishness of it all x

I come from Hong Kong, a city in Asia where this city never sleeps. Everyone is very busy for their work, and never try to enjoy their life. It sounds like a very prosperous city but in fact there is no real life here.
However, I think the best thing you can find in this city, is that the food here is really good, and you shouldn't miss it.
