Well, it depends on how serious is the situation. If the situation is very serious, it's better to talk face to face. From there, you are able to patch things up more easily. If you are only talk through phone, the person who received your call, won't felt happy and may start to felt your insincerity. When you had make a mistake, it's better to talk face to face. But, if for a common chat, then talking on the phone is alright and very convenient. I always talks on the phone to my parents and loved ones when i am free, just to keep in touch with them. Yes, phone is a very useful thing.

Of course it depends on several things. For example, if we are far away from the person or people we want to communicate with, cell phone is the answer. But if that is not the case, I guess meeting them in person will be a better choice. Anyway technology is there to make our life easier. It means that we should be the master of technology and use it to fulfill our needs instead of being the slave of the technology, right? Cheers!

I think it's a test. It's always easier to be yourself (or who you want to be) when only voices/texts are exchanged.
For example, here in the Philippines.. most people are so funny, talkative and friendly in text world. But when you personally meet, there's this shyness which doesn't seem to exist when you communicate through phones.
I guess using phones is very modern and convenient. I'd still insist on seeing my friends though. I only contact them through phone when I'm too lazy to get up from my swivel chair, MyLotting. ;)
I'm just saying that I like having no superficial relationships with people.

It's better to say something to someone face to face. Specially in important situations like apologizing to someone or asking someone out or breaking up with them.

I much prefer to talk to a person face to face. There are so many different aspects of communication (body language, etc.) that can't be conveyed over a phone. In fact, I very much dislike talking on the phone for this reason.

I prefare texting because when you're in a public place and youre talking on the phone it's embaressing so i tend to text in public places but overall i like to talk face to face because you can get a whole lot more out of the conversation.
