I'm gonna play Sims 3 as soon as my exams finish. Can u tell me how much memory you have got and what system processor you have, i'll get an idea about the game's requirements, it will help me check if Sims 3 would run fine on my computer. You said its freezing on your computer, which games have you got working on your system ?
I've played Sims 2 and its damn good, i hope Sims 3 would go one step further. I've heard they have added much more to Sims 3 and you can do a lot of things that were never possible in the previous versions so I guess its going to be real fun playing this game in vacations. If you have any other favourite games then lemme know i'll love to check out some new games in vacations.

I went and purchased Sims 3 last weekend myself, and installed it. It is Great, and everything I thought it would be. I am still trying to learn some New things about it, etc. but it is definately fun. I had to purchase a New computer a little over a month ago so I could play it. (My other Computer could not even play Sims 2 without freezing.)

it runs great on my computer, and its a great game so far, definitely worth the money. my comp has 3 gigs of ram, and an NVidia 9800 with 512 MB of DDR3 video ram, so its got plenty to run off of. also dual core i7 processor, that cost A LOT of moneyz.

My story is long and difficult...
It started when I heard the Sims 3 was coming out, and I wanted it more than anything. After the release date was postponed, it came out on the fifth of june (happy days!). I rushed to Asda where I heard it was being sold at £29.91, but they had all sold out. After travelling to the other side of town and looking in many different shops, I finally bought it from Tesco. (Hurrah!!)
Imagine my dismay, when after an hour of installation on my PC, a note popped up, saying my graphics card wasn't good enough. I was upset. Very upset.
But now, weeks afterwards, I have ordered a new computer from Dell to arrive on Monday. (Apparently my old one was so terrible it couldn't be upgraded.)
