wow! what a good program to have.my children go toa private school also but we still get out for summer.they sure want to go back.

NO, NO, NO it will leave hardly much time for rest and relaxation, especially for the people who are approaching important exams as the holidays give the people a lot of time for them to catch up on revision and just do what they want. Without it other social thing will pile up and it will not help.

what about weekends isint there any time for catching up then? i supose as you get older it gets harder.take care

Personally I think School is long enough anymore. Here in WA state they go until the 20th of June this yr. and for me, I am thinking this only leaves 2 months for Vacations until school starts again. When I was growing up like in a lot of states still, we got out the end of May to enjoy the Summer. So I guess where you are from, but personally I would think kids do Best with 9 months of school year more than 10 months for sure.

Yeah I think they should have classes year round. This would make them able to get out of school by the time they are 16. I actually think this is the way they do it is England and other parts of Europe. I think it would be a good idea for us to do it the same way here in America.

Hi long time since hearing from you.The holidays are far to long especially the summer one.My son is leaving for year 12 this month,He will have nearly three months to occupy himself and I know he will get bored ,we are on holiday for most of august but the it is the rest of it I am concerned about.Hope you are keeping well.

hi suzzy i am doing very well i have been really busy with lots of weddings.yes i do believe these children do get bored. even though mine is in swimming lessons and much more i wear out before they do.

thats funny.supose if my children were older they would feel diffrent.but i dont know they sure are missing school right now.

No, I don't think so. I think that 2 months vacation is needed so that children could relax and play. I suggest that you enroll your boys to summer training like playing pianos or swimming lessons so that they have other recreational activities during summer.
