Do Ghosts really exist?

Personally, I do believe in ghosts. I have had experiences that I can only explain by thinking that it's ghosts. I don't think that I can explain some of my experiences any other way. At least, I don't think that I can.

I think yeah, they should exist. But who really knows for sure? I want to visit a haunted house so bad. LoL. I'm not scared I just want to believe in it but I can't believe it till I see/feel/interpret it some how. But there's quite alot of things unexplained, and sometimes science proves things otherwise. It's possible that what our ancestors/lesser informed beings has interpreted long ago as UFOs are really just some kind of physical phenomena like lighting balls in the atmosphere and stuff like that. There's so many things that could play with your mind but it's really what you interpret it as is what makes the difference. We don't know if we all see things the same way, and for each person the world is a little different. It's probably like looking at a cloud and seeing all types of shapes and things, or looking at a complex pattern and seeing almost anything your mind could create. I've never seen a ghost in my life. But for me, I think such a thing could exist but they don't have to actually be visible. There's so much things that exist that we can't see but it's actually really there. I think if they're not part of this world, or realm if you want to say, then there's no reason why we would even feel them as a cold breeze or spot. Such things could most likely be some physical phenomena in the area concerned. No ghost has ever rebooted my PC with EMI waves so far. But if you could send one my way, i'd be grateful for making me believe in it.

I have seen and heard ghosts, but as a scientific mind, I am not yet ready to swear my mind wasn't projecting somehow. Anything based on our perception of reality is filtered by our minds and the human brain is still pretty mysterious!

When my grandpa, my mom's father, had passed in October of 97, I used to smell his scent a lot. It was really distinctive and it came out strongly especially during the holidays and mom's birthday. It was like that a lot before we had moved. I smelt it slightly before helping my auntie move out the apartment she and grandpa had shared for years too. When my husband's mom passed the year before, there was this particular song by Anita Baker called "Just Because" would play all the time when we get in the elevator or walking down the street. He told me that was one of his mom's favorite songs. Coincidence? Maybe but it was a bit weird for a moment. I never seen a ghost or spirit but I do believe that they do exist in some form.

I've never seen a ghost in my life before and I will never ask to meet one :D But i do believe that ghost exist but they will not harm us. Why do ghost wanna harm us if we never do anything against it. Nice discussion though. I get scared easily with ghost but I enjoy watching scary movies.

there are alot of weird sounds coming i do wonder if tere is such things as GHOSTS in my opinion i think they really do exist especially wen no ones home except you thn u feel something coming against you and like creeking floors it always scares me. i have to like bring a lamp just incase the ligts go off scarryy :X

Yes, they do, but in a totally different form than you might expect. A modern day ghost is gravity (yes, I mean the physical concept of gravity.) We all believe in it, but there is absolutely no way of proving that it really exists without a priori assuming that it exists. Then you can say, look, I let go of that apple, and it falls down, so gravity MUST exist. No, what exists is an observable phenomenon (the falling apple) and our interpretation of the why. Yes, ghosts exist.

I do believe that there are ghosts and spirits. I am from a town that has a lot of ghost stories and everything like that. I swear I have had some experiences in the past.

I think that it would be naive to think that there wasn't another plane of life amongst us. I believe that ghosts exist but have never really had an actual encounter myself, I have heard many tales from those I trust. I think that television and film portray ghosts as scary flesh eating, revenge seeking beings that haunt our world but I think that the reality can bring people hope. Their passed Granny standing in the window when playing with their kids in the garden, their missed parents standing at the back of a ground cheering them on when making their first public speech perhaps. I think that the belief that your loved ones may still be around us should create a warm feeling.

I really saw a ghost a few months a go when i at my college.That time was a dark night without lamp at my college and i was went out for dinner.I look at the sky and have watched a big white thing was flying.I feel very scared and run very fast because i feel like the ghost try to chase and come near me.I also shout my friend name because i go out late from them.

in the bible,.it never say that ghost come up...i dont believe in ghost but im scared coz of those movies related in ghost...it is like a real that have a ghost in this world...i think ghost is on our mind only,..mentally thinking only i think...

i believe they do, i never really seen anything of ghostly activities but i have heard many stories from family members that lead me to believe in ghost very much so.

Well, I have experience a lot supernatural things. Does ghost really exisit? Yes they do. Most of the time ghost have unfinished business. Thats why they have not cross over. When taking picture ghost can show up in them or you see steam of white lines in pictures. That also happens. Have you ever felt some one is watching you? But there is nothing there. All because you don't see it doesn't mean they are not there. What kind of werid thing? Like having your name call but your the only one home. I have experience these things and more.

I do not believe that Ghosts exists but many believe that they do exist because they had some experiences which do no have reason, I think that it all in our perception that ghosts exists, even I have some experiences for which I cannot provide any reason but still for me they do not exist. one weird stuff I experienced was I had a perception that someone entered my room and after reaching my hostel room I realised that I have locked it and there is no chace someone can enter in the room...For some time I was not able think aboout but after I some time I realised it was my perception and nothing really happened in the way I saw.

I really think ghosts do exists becuase of my personal experience but i guess people are more sceptical than others and other people have dodgy eyes so they play tricks on them haha, and when we're tired we tend to see things move too so i don't know maybe theres an explanation for everything, maybe in this case it was a ghost maybe just something in the corner of your eye.. but we only believe it if we want to, nobody can say oh well that wasn't a ghost because they wasn't there.. so just believe what you wanna believe and not what anybody told you :) you either saw it or you didnt

i don't believe in ghost. first of old in my entire life i did see and heard a ghost i see only in the movies and heard in the stories but in true life never experience . my friend minister in the church told me that if i experience something like they called it ghost he tell that that is a devil.

I don't believe in ghosts. They appears in my dreams. And sometimes, i wake up feared. uhuhuhahahahahahaha Lucky they appears in only dreams ( in my life ), lucky. Hehehehe Bye.

no there is no ghost. all our imagination and fears only. but i have heards and seen some video clips i feel all this graphic only.
