Hi,
I've always been thinking about this question about what exactly happens when we die. where do we go or where do we stay?
Do any of you have any idea what happens after we die? Of Course there are some many beliefs in some many religions but has anything been proved till date?
This is an definitely an all time interesting and intriguing question as well.

The intriguing thing is, in my humble opinion, why we ask that question at all, because it is basically a question about the future, and the future, as we know, can’t be seen. If we would learn, or re-learn, to fully live in the present, we actually might be able to build paradise here on earth. I guess something went wrong in the course of man’s evolution. Maybe we were supposed to know that a future exists, but surly we were not supposed to constantly worry about it.
Besides that, your question is a question that can’t be answered, with any certainty, with a simple ‘yes’or ‘no’. It’s probably both, but our minds just don’t grasp the concept.

Yes friend, learning to live in the present is a thought that we should fully embrace. Being thankful for the time that we have right now and learning to make the most of it is so important. I always like to think that the future will take care of itself. We simply need to learn to take care of the things that we now have some control over. Hey be blessed and live a happy life, this is the will of God for all of mankind...............

after we die ? of course we will be burried with religions's ceremony and our body will totally damage hahahaha (sorry). if we do not accept religion teaching, yes of course only this process we know and it is really true. die, damage and disappeared that's all. no other proof except our bones scattered on the ground. But we are also spiritual creature so that we do not accept that this very complicated and valuable life will end just at our grave, that peoples who we love very much will gone and disappear forever burried at this not good land, that our very high thougt, study, and hard stuggle will end only at this cemetary ... thanks for your good topic, I dont know this thougt make me sad and unhappy.

I cant answer that question because I don't know. The deeper truth is that no one else knows either. Every religion out there, save one, will tell you they have the answer and the answer varies from one religion to the other.
The one thing that I do know about what happens after we die is that anyone who tells you that they know is lying to you.

Hi Sid,
Yeah, That is every body's wish and I do really believe that we will meet all our loved after we leave this place in the afterlife!
Cheers and have a Nice day!

There's never been any proof of any afterlife, as you say many beliefs have different ideas but not one of them can prove their thoeries.
No matter what we all think we'll all find out sooner or later.

Yeah chriss,
There's never been any proof because ghosts cannot communicate with us and those who die can never talk to us ever again! thats the reason why there is never any proof to this. Like you said we will definitely find out what it is sooner or later! hope that it is not painful for any of us.
Cheers and have a nice day!

There is no answer for that.
I believe that when I die, my personality will exist only in the memories of my loved ones, and my body will rot. That's all I have proof for so far.
I guess the true answer for now is 'whatever makes you feel good'. If you like the idea of going to a heaven, the idea of being judged by a supreme being, the idea of going into another form of life, or just being done with the woes of life, go for it. But it still isn't fact just yet.
What I believe is uncomfortable, and even sad, to plenty of people. Not to me, though. I can only be comfortable believing what I know to be true, otherwise the little guy in my brain starts yelling at me to quit being gullible.

Hi pal,
@Mickey: Mickey "the whatever feels good" attitude always makes you think that way because it makes you feel good thinking like that ,but you have to keep in mind that it may not be true always and sometimes when you get to know the real truth or reality then you may not feel that good as you felt before it might even make you feel bad or worse!

I think that when we die our spirts hang around for awhile and then we are reincarnated into another body. We probably also experience a type of peace "heaven" if you will where we are reunited with loved ones. I don't really believe in Hell per se, but amybe some people don't get the "heaven" experience. Some people think hell is actually on earth, but my life has been probably pretty good overall, better than alot of people's anyway, so I don't think that is the case.

I'm not a religious person in the slightest, however I am technically a Christian (I was christened) but I don't agree with Christian beliefs and culture. I personally think that when we die, if we lead a good life our soul is clensed and resettled into a newborn baby. I think this is called Reincarnation? I also believe that if we lead a bad life that our soul is left to walk the Earth. I don't think that when we die we go to somewhere like Heaven or Hell, i would like to think that if someone really believed what they thought would happen when they die, that it would happen.

In my religion,Islam,we have been teach that there is a new life after die.We will get heaven or hell if we do a lot of kind things or bad things.I hope i will get the heaven because i dont want to be torture in hell by God's angel. We believe we will that all activity or things we do will give we rewards or sins. All the rewards or sins we get will determine us to get good life after die like heaven or bad life or get torture in hell.Thank you.

I believe that our spirit lives on and we are in the state like we are when we are dreaming. Then we are able to either stay in that state or come back in another body back here to do a better job then we did in our previous life. As to get it right this time. Thats what I think!

Hi Pal,
Thats really an interesting thought that we come back to complete something that needs to be done correctly in here on earth.but then what do you think about ghosts then?how will they come back?Think about it.
Cheers and have a great day!

I do sometimes think about that.maybe we just stick to what our religion believes because we should not insert the knowledge of science here but the person we believe and that is God.

I believe that if your a good person you'll probably go somewhere nice as they call Heaven and if you do somting bad you'll probably go to somewhere bad but there are other theries like you stay on earth helping peope by soul or maybe staying on earth haunting somone for the rest of their lives. like i said lots of theories

Hi daredevil,
This is the most simplest and the answer with the most amount of truth in it!But i do not believe in the staying on earth and haunting part.
Cheers and have a nice day!

Well we won't know till we die.
My worst fear is that when you die, you can't move, but you can still feel and think. So you're paralyzed for eternity. That'd suck haha.

Paralyzed for life??
That would definitely be the worst way than anything! I hope that nothing of that sort ever happenes to anyone on the face of this earth! that is so freaky and gross and scary!

This is a very big question. A very interesting one.
What happens after we die? We simply stop to exist physically.
Even do our memories is alive to those who love and know us. We just
simply gone. Sad to think that everything you worked so hard in this
world will just vanished in to thin air.

Hello,
I am a Christian and I believe that all that believe in Jesus Christ as our saviour will be brought to heaven. I have had some kind of confirmation of this because of what happened to me about 10 years ago. When I was sick as a child I could send myself out of my body and i would find myself floating in the upper corner of the room. So I am familiar with the sensation of having an OOB (out of Body) experience. Anyway, about 10 years ago in the early morning hours, I woke up to find myself being pulled up out of my body, I know this because when I looked down I could see myself still lying on my bed. I was brought to a place that I firmly believe is heaven. I know this because I was surrounded by an aura of love and joy and peace. There in front of me stood Jesus. And as I was looking at Him, I heard a voice tell me, "I love you and I will wait for us to be in heaven forever." Then as I was still looking at Jesus, after the Voice finished, Jesus smiled at me, and I was sent back down to my body.
Recently I was BaptiZed (yes i was not baptized when this happened) into the Lutheran faith. During my studies with the pastor, I learned all about the Trinity of God. As I look back at the OOB experience, I now believe that the voice I heard speaking was God the Father Almighty, I was looking at Jesus Christ, God the Son. And the Aura of Peace and love and Joy I felt, I was surrounded by the Holy Spirit of God.
This is the proof that I have of a Heaven for all who believe in Christ and come to know Him and Love Him.
Many Blessings to you,
Jenn

Hi i am wingswomen, and i stumbled upon your page while searching for coins, i am not very religious buti believe that we are all in a state of spiritual suspension. It is like being sent to school and are expected to do well but the choice is yours, this world is like a stage and we all are actors in our own right some play their part well and some mess it all up.so when you die it is there is no returning, so it is like waking out of a dream state and trying to figure out if it was all a nightmare but of course it will all depend on your performance,if you gave a good performance you will be smiling when you awake but if your performance was bad then i!m sure you won!t wake very happy and that is my view on after we die.Enjoy. P,S. i read some of your discussions and i do like how it brings together the internet community.wingswomen
