Need help with blog/website?

Hi, I just wanted to offer anyone help with their blog or website. I am going to make a blog and I am waiting for my domain to get registered so I thought I might aswell try and help as many people as I can. I have experience with wordpress, phpbb3, the general html and css and I am also a graphics designer so I can tell you how to make your blog look better! So if their is anyone who needs help just ask here and I will try and help you also I encourage all other members to help out.

I am really glad to see this discussion!
I just started on blogging a few weeks back. I didn't earn anyhting to this day. And I thought it's just fine...maybe earning will really take place after a few months. However, I learned that my sister who just started blogging a few days ago, already earned in her site...then there, I thought, I must be doing something wrong. Could you be so kind to check my blog through my profile, and tell me in which area should I improve. Any suggestion is going to be a big help for a newbie like me.

I really, really appreciate the tips. For a newbie, some of the terms might be a bit unfamiliar to me. I tried the RSS feeds you advised me to get, and after I subscribed to the page, I am not sure if it's working, or how will I know if it's my blog already?
Also, I've checked how others manipulated there blog site...and can see that their lay outs are way more convenient. However, when I tried to edit my lay out, it seems stuck to the way it is. Besides, there's a few option in the templates...so this is the girliest of all. I was advised by another Mylotter that I should arrange it well, and I already did...at least 5 times yesterday...and I still am not happy with the result.

Please download the text file that I have uploaded and then insert this under your header. If you don't know how to insert it under your banner could you please pm me your template file so that I can do it for you and then I will send it back to you. By the way nice blog it looks good!

Your not really telling me what the problem is, there are a lot of problems and errors with what? uploading the template? the theme itself? please give more information and maybe a link to your blog so I can see what the problem is.

oops, sorry. the problem i was encountering is on the html code itself, like when saving the new template it says that template could not be parsed, not well formed, and others. specifically, it says that the element a must be followed by either attributes... I tried to look upon it and I can't find the exact code where the problem is occurring. I followed all the instructions exactly as what it is written in the source site.
