how to play with my meebas

My gd got this toy called My Meebas for her birthday last week. We are trying to figure out how to play with it. My niece said you are suppose to play with it and it grows like a stuff animal and it will pop out at the top. We looked on the internet today and sure enough it does. My daughter started looking at it today and realized there were games to play on it. Just wondering if anyone here if their child has this and if this is true about the stuff animal.
