hi all!
i have a question for you? would you still work if you have a lot of money? like if you won the lottery, or if someone just gave you a big bag of cold cash that can get you through a lifetime, or whatever the circumstance but you just found yourself with a lot of money. what would you do?
would you opt to live in luxury your whole life and not lift a finger to work ever? or would you still continue to work?
in my case, i think i will still continue to work because that would make me use my brain...God gave it to me, and i will use it to think. and i will also use my body in order to work. but maybe, it will no longer be jobs that constrict me, like being an employee. but maybe it is to work in order to give more work to other people and to give them better lives.
or maybe it is starting a foundation that will help many people. whatever is the case, i will continue to work.
the difference may just like in the fact that i am working not for my subsistence but for the livelihood and the betterment of lives of others.
take care all and God bless you!
happy mylotting!

If I had a lot of money, I'd probably invest it into a business or something that I am sure that would make the money grow. Money, at any amount, would still dwindle if not handled properly so it would be nice if I could set aside into a bank, time deposit perhaps and another amount to business, perhaps have different accounts in different banks just to make sure?
Not necessarily not working anymore, as you said, not doing anything would just make us deteriorate. (^_^")

the question is.. would the money i have generate more money ??..
no matter how much you have - it will decrease, if you dont a 'method' of 'multiplying' it..
so.. yes.. i guess i would still 'work' - it may not be a fixed job, like the 8to5 job.. but i guess i must still 'do' something to ensure that the money 'grows' or 'multiplies'.. then.. i would still have money to spend on myself.. my family.. and also give to charity or help the community...

It would depend on how much money I had. If it was enough to never have to worry about money then I wouldn't work for anyone but I would work at helping people out. Maybe start a camp for kids, or have a bed and breakfast. I would have to do something to keep busy. I would get bored to fast. Especially since I don't like to shop much.

If i had a ton of money, i wouldnt get a job, but i would still work and help people out as much as possible. God wouldn't want us sitting around as filthy rich snobs. He wants us to help people, which is what i would do. I would definitley be happier, but i wouldn't let the money change who i am. Great post btw!

I would definitely work but I would do something that I like even if it doesn't necessarily pay the bills. I would maybe open a store and sell purses or something like that for fun. I don't think I could just stay at home all the time and not do anything all day.

i think i would take a break from working if i had come into a lot of money. i would still help people and donate to charity if i came into that much money, but i don't think i would ever work again though. but i wouldn't just lay around and do nothing all day while my maids and butlers do all the work.no. i would still excersize and clean up my own house every once in awhile. and i would still be the same old me but richer.

I feel the same way. I would continue to work but working a different job. I would make sure I wasn't held down and most likely would become my own boss. I would try to launch my own business.

I would get a job by starting a company on my own. And I would love to manage it and make it popular. Even though one has money, it doesn't mean that he can sleep all day long and enjoy since he gets to have shelter and food. I would spend more time enjoying myself and fulfilling my dreams, but I would also make sure that i spend the money wisely and it can go away any time without any notice.

of course because because money can spend of an hour span of time, if you will keep on spending your money will gone, but it doesnt mean that i will engage to employment instead i will manage my own business and make it good, make sure the money will prosper and have a good life. and money will not lead us into bad person.

No matter how much money I have,I will still continue to work.In my opinion, work not only provides us with money, but also provides us a lot of knowledge.Through work,we can have more experience and we can provide more services to the people on our society, who provide convenience to us in all kinds of ways.I will always work if my health condition permits.

if i was given the chance to have an instant money, i would still get a job because we will never know what's install for us for the next few years... instant money/cash are very easy to spend... so for me continuing my job or having a regular job is very much important... :)

yes. i will still be working even if i have lots of money. First reason, its the fulfillment that you contributed something to the country and to myself. Second reason because money don't last long. I mean you have to invest your money wisely and that is putting up a business with your supervision. So your making your money at the same time your money will earned more.
