we have children that grow, learn and graduate. My youngest is gradutating tomorrow at her high school. I am so proud of this young lady, she has done so much in her four years in High School. She is also graduating 24th in her class. How can you not be proud of this accomplisment, its Awesome. She has also won awards from different segments of the school as well as gained Many Many friends from fellow students, to teachers, as well as teachers and children from other schools she has been teaching assitant for. Sure she is a teenager, she does those teenager mistakes, "we know what those are no matter how old we are" lol Still she has proven to be a wonderful addition to the adult world. She is already enrolled in college, knows her goals, long term and short term. So tomorrow it will be such a proud moment for us her family, when she walks across that stage to be awarded her Diploma. She worked hard for it, and Guess what, She Did IT

Congratulations on your accomplishment as a parent who was able to rear a wonder and accomplished child :) Your pride on your daughter is contagious! I could feel that you're confident that your daughter would be exactly who she wants to be when she grows up. I hope you continue to guide her in her journey. I remember how my parents were also proud when I graduated :P Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

Congradulations! I am so proud for you and your family. I just wanted to stop by and let you know in 2005 my son, oldest and only male child I have did the same thing. But just a couple days before that, as best I can recall on the time line he also received his Eagle Award as a Boy Scout. I only share that information to get to the point of this. While he was receiving that award, his dad and I were also receiving an award for helping him reach that goal and being the support that he needed to actually acquire it. That being said I will never ever forget that as much as they achieve... basically no matter who or where... their parents were also so much a part of them ultimately getting there. Just like from the day you become aware people congradulate us on the joy of conception so to speak and also more or less ooh and aahhh over the newborn to helping us enjoy their small accomplishments over time like first rolling over, talking, walking and such. We obviously don't attend job interviews or school with them or work for that matter but what we taught them over time is always with them. So I thank you so much for sharing and for doing your part in her quest as she grew to get to this point. Be proud not only of her accomplishments but of yourself as you helped to the best of your ability through out her life. May God Bless You and Yours. Sandy

Thank you Sandy, your right it is us as parents that teach, guide and try and show them that life are the choices we make in life. The circumstances we go through are from those choices. Just like the choices we made in raising them. She did alot in High School on her own, so she did learn from her parents that you got to get out there and just do.

That is a pretty good accomplishment if I do say so myself. And those mistakes evereyone (almost everyone) have made before like going somewhere at the wrong place at the wrong time and getting in trouble. For a kid to be like that is pretty amazing ... not much kids are like this anymore. Yes that's pretty much all you can say "SHE DID IT" that is the smallest yet biggest phrase parents love ... she didn't quit and she stuck through it to the very end.
