what all can you do with an IMDB.com account?

I've created an account on IMDB.COM because it is a useful database that i can employ while doing some academic researches. But I myself rarely do any productive activities there relating the various function modules. I only love to read the movie reviews, as some of them are written by really knowledgeable audience or critiques who make their points from different angles. I'd like to see cinema as a window of the world, which provides materials for perception and debates, so it's interesting to draw some ideas from others' understanding and analysis.

You get all the benefits ONLY if you get the paid account,otherwise there is no such benefit with free one othe than reading all reviews,etc

I have absolutely no idea! I never created an account there. I do like to go to that one site to look up movies though. They have better information than any other movie site, in my opinion. Hope you find what you're looking for.

One of the benefits for me is that being a member on IMDB gives me the opportunity to submit links as an external reviewer to my own film reviews on my film site. It certainly helps drive traffic to my site by doing this. Otherwise I really don't use my membership for anything else.
