Do you cleanthe house weekly or daily?

My mother used to make us clean our rooms every Saturday because that was the day she cleaned everything in the house. Also that's when she did laundry and made my dad clean he's work areas too.
Now I live with my boyfriend and I don't have that special schedule to follow. I clean when I feel like it and when it's necessary. I Clean my toilet more often than the stairs but dishes I do every day.
Do you have a routine for cleaning or do you do what's necessary when it's needed?

I just like to clean it regularly, when it is dirty, I clean, when it is dusty, I clean, when the floor gets wet and dirty, I wash. So once it is dirty, I clean.

So do I, I just can't make myself do it when it looks clean enough for me.

I tend to do the same thing mermaid. I clean everyday because I do it as it's needed. I have a 5 year old, so I never ever seem to run out of things to clean/straighten up! If I did it once a week, it would not only take me forever, but my house would look horrible as the week wore on! Maybe once my son is older that will become easier, and I won't feel like I'm a slave to cleaning the house.

That is something I can't do. I'm not messy but I have some trouble putting thing back where they belong. My boyfriend is the same so we have to push each other to put things back and clean after ourselves a little more.
