As Im a young kid I used to bless than kissing.
Im shy to kiss my parents especially my father.
I like seeing others kissing and hugging their
moms and dads but me Im shy of doing that kind
of stuff. How about you, what you use always
in greeting your parents and other relatives?

Well I usually kiss my mom when she leaves the house and goes home from work. I kiss her when I come home from school and leave the house. I even do this to my aunts but only "bless" to most of my uncles hehe. Usually they don't like it and they prefer to be treated just like our age because they don't want the fact that they're respected co'z they think they're getting old hehe. I however have one uncle whom I'm not ashamed of kissing because I'm closest to him and having been grown up without a father, he stood up as our dad. In my family, it's very important to us that you still pay respect to the elders because that has been the family tradition and that's how things normally work within the family. I belong to a very conservative family that's why these things are still practiced.

Hello geniustiger. I have never kissed my parents since I was young because we were taught to love people from the bottom of our heart. Besides, my parents are in their seventies and eighties, belonging to the old generation. So I have learned to bless my parents as well as those I love. It is easier though. hehe.
I also like to watch people kiss and hug each other. Now I have learned to hug my good friends and colleagues when they have to leave for other places to work. I usually say, "Please give me a hug" instead of a kiss. lol

Yes, when I was a child my parents always hug and kiss me. But after I enter elementary we never do it anymore because it feels strange and I really shy. Just imagine about it can make me feel shy and strange. As time goes by, for me and my family,, no need kiss or hug to express love. We know and sure we love each other without kiss and hug. But if with other relatives who I rarely meet, I still do that kiss&hug ritual. It makes me feel closer to them^^,,
