i consider myself as one of the most calm and patient persons in the world. it would take a lot of tough and rough situations before i consider explosions of emotions. i have been through some things and these stuff taught me how to be calm and patient all the time.even im provoked i make it sure that i'd deal with it as calm as possible. how about you?how calm and patient have you become?

I am normally very calm. It takes a lot for me to get upset.But when I do get upset know one likes it at all. Being patient it all depends on the situation. I am patient in a lot of areas but some areas i am not patient at all.

every sense my grandparents passed away a year and a half ago. I got valuable stuff of theirs and I don't like anyone getting near there stuff. I am to antsy and think someone is going to break their stuff. Then I would be mad and sad at the same time. Witch is not a good sign.

I am also the person who used to be stay calm mostly all the time. But many peoples still dont know that I am dynamite in nature. I am safe with my surroundings still i have the patience with me in my angry times. But once if i lost my control, Then thats all. Surrounding will be heavily spolied by me.
Nowadays I much reduced that habit and trying not to get tensed in any kind of situation. sometimes I realized that less sleep will also brings us tension. I must try to sleep atleast 7 hours a day.
Bonus Information:
Sleep is advisable depending on your occupation, kind of activities, as well as a quality of sleep. Thomas Edison is known to be having just 4 hrs of sleep!

yes that's true.when i find myself lack of sleep i tend to be irritated and lose my composure. i also easily get angry.you've got it right.having lack of sleep will lose my temper and tend to forget my calmness.we sure need to have enough rest and sleep to maintain being calm and patient.

I try to be as calm as I possibly can. I have my moments of impatience, but for the most part I remain calm. There are other times that I get stern with my daughter if she needs it, but I only get that way if she pushes too far. I'd still say I handle it well though.

My calmness depends on the situation that im going through. As my everyday encountered, I have to compose my temper every now and then because patience is part of my job. Facing different people and understanding different attitudes matters me most. We cant resist that sometimes things get rough but I always put in mind that it was just a simple destruction in our everyday encounters.

very well said pal. good for you that you have learned to compose yourself. i don't think patience was your ally before.now it's a need in your job. Being patient when trying to achieve your goals is a quality few people possess.Let’s explore how being more patient can lead to better health. Being able to deal with stress as it happens is the easiest way to stop it before it becomes a problem. Take a deep breath and be open to suggestions from those who know that patience is a virtue. Here is common advice given to help succeed in being patient and deal with stress:
* Take one day at a time, or one problem at a time
* Accept that you are human and it takes time!
* Step back and reframe your perspective
* Make short-term, realistic goals
* Stop the self-doubt - love yourself
* Let go of worries, especially things you can't control
* Confront your fears
* Look at change as a positive thing
* Exercise, eat well
* Stay occupied with something you enjoy, like a hobby or sports
* Don't withdraw but rather talk with a friend or counselor

I don't really know how calm I am when I facing a certain situation. It would be best to calmly to come up a best solution to a situations, when you are in to difficult time. We all have to learn the technique of calming - down, and we have to patiently think through the possibles when we are in a difficult situation.

Those who were calm and relaxed had a 50% lower risk of developing dementia during the six years of the study. Dementia is the progressive and long-term decline in cognitive function due to damage or disease in the body beyond what might be expected from normal aging. that's why let's stay as calm and as cool as we can.

In my own personality I'm calm to my point only.
What I mean if still can handle and have it humbly
I will hold it. But if I heard it many times that
can make my head blow and up then thats the time I
say my idea about it.
I will say te reality if I'M already full blown.
When my limit was spilling already I will say
everything whats in my mind and what I felt.

hmm how calm am i, well i have been told that i am positively glacial. it is amazing the amount of crap i will put up with. this is by no means because i am a walkover or doormat, but my level of calm is inspired by the situation that i am in. if it involves another person, the more frustrated and angry they get, the calmer i become, this in turn sometimes makes them angrier. i have been told that this is passive agressive behavior. i don't see how it can be, i basically do not spectate badness. my calm energy feeds of anger, i guess people get mad when you are calm because they have nothing to fight against, this makes me calm because then i have the upper hand and control of the situation. i have only everraised my voice to yell at someone once in my life about 20 years ago. i internalize and process things, i am not a mercurial person, neither am i reactive. i try to guage what someone is getting at and their perspective. in some situations people do make me mad, but they will never know it as i project some calm. i have outlets for my frustrating moments, then i let it go and move on.
i had a job where i worked in student loans and i used to have people stand toe to toe with me and yell into my face, and i never retaliated, just remained calm till the tirade was over. then i would repeat the previously given advice let them know that my hands were tied and i did not process the claims then i would ask "in light of this what would you like for me to do, how can i help you"
it is hard but you have to remain calm and level headed in some situations or else they escalate then there is trouble. i don't even spectate arguments with anyone anymore.

Eeeh I'd say I'm on the lower end of the spectrum. I'm calm in the aspect that I can sit down and read a book and do not have to move a thousand miles a minute and I have patience for most things because I'm more mature than other people my age. But as for being calm and un-emotional in situations that is NOT me, I do not like that I have a short temper and I become over emotional in many situations. When people challenge or provoke me I lash out at them and don't hold back, it's probably not smart but I think it's cuz im still young and I have to still learn these things.

I am very calm and patient. I am more patient than most people I know, but at the same time I am very demanding. Before, I used to get nervous and fidget under pressure, but I have worked on it and am now calm under pressure, which is great because I can think on my feet on alternative ideas and things like that. I do get very emotional during sports, so I guess that is kind of like my emotional release.

I can be calm and patient sometimes but most of the time I am not very calm. I easily get irrated much more if the instructions given to your staff cannot be easily done even if they are supposed to know it. I am also impatient to those who cant do their job on time and to those who dont keep on to their words. But i easily get calm after the uncalmy minutes.

Same story in my blog http://bradpetehoops.blogspot.com/ I love being patients and I always forgive all the people, animals, bad moments and calamities that passed in my life. I always do and thing "Many storm pass never loose hope". I'm trying to be like Jesus. Even I'm not perfect. I have weakness to become meek or humble.
