Really good sales ad ends today, but I don't really need to go shopping!

That is my dilemma for today. I don't really need to go grocery shopping for much of anything, but one of the places I do my grocery shopping at is having a really good sale on some things. If you had the money and there was a good sale on some things that you normally buy, but you don't really need any groceries would you go stock up anyway? OR let the sale pass you by?

If I had the money and things that I normally use are on sale, even though I do not need them at the moment, I would take advantage of the sale. My husband would say I didn't need the items, but if it is non perishables, like toilet paper, paper towels, or laundry detergent, I will jump on it in a heart beat.

I"d stock up based on a couple of factors... 1. had the money 2. had the room 3. knew it would get gobbled up in your household and fast 4. how perishable is it? or isn't it? If it's perishable how long will it last in the fridge or would it get eaten right away? Besides if they don't offer that deal too often and say it's a dry good like pasta or canned goods. It's definatly worth wild it'll save you money in the end of they don't do it too often. Plus one never knows if they will be short a few dollars in my household from week to week.

I am thinking I might pass on a lot of the sale, but still get a few things. My son is gone for the next 2 1/2 weeks with my sister out of state, so it is just me and my daughter till then. If he was here I would probably buy more stuff.

If I had the money and it was for things that I usually buy, I'd take advantage of it. Why not? It will save you money in the long run. Now if the sales are for things you don't normally buy and/or you don't have room to store extras and/or it could go bad before you use it, then it wouldn't make sense to spend money on it, no matter how good the sales are.

If you can afford it, I'd go. It never hurts to stock up on things. Next time when you need something there won't be a good sale. Just how it seems to work.

I had a similar thing happen to me recently too. It would really depend. You said you have the money so that is not an issue, but do you have the space, is there room in your fridge, freezer, or on the shelf for it? Do you have the time to do it? If you do have room, time, and money and since these items you used regularly I would probably go and get them and stock up. Since you use them regularly they are not going to go to waste, so why not save some money on them?

I have a whole other fridge that is not being used at all right now, so I have plenty of space to keep things in there and shelf space.

I would definitely go & stock up if i had the money. i always buy ahead . I HATE TO START TO MAKE SOMETHING & BE OUT OF ONE INGREDIENT SO I KEEP A PRETTY good stocked pantry at all times. Anytime u can find things on sale u better take advantage of it, i think. It;s for sure groceries aren't going anywhere but up just like everything else.

This is where a budget would be nice. If you have grocery money available and the sale is non-perishables, then by all means you should stock up. That said, I have a rough time trying to stick to a budget! I would have to look at where I stood with my overall money situation and figure out if I had enough room in my freezer and cupboards. I really hate when you go shopping only to find out the sale three days later could have saved you a ton of money!

I´d let the sale pass me by! Every time I go shopping, even if I do with a list, I buy something I don´t need. It´s better to keep away from temptation. I´m sure you have enough groceries in the house to last for some time. There will be another sale

if i have the money i would go and buy those on sale and stack up on them... but i'll check on those expiration dates though, as most sales of foods are almost close to getting expired. if am going to stack up on them, i will count the days on how long that be. if its ok then ill go ahead and buy. some sales here are buy one take one, that's a lot of savings already for me.

Don't go if you don't need it
