I dont know about you, but I love walking. I live near a beautiful city Vancouver (Canada). I can start out walking to Granville Island, take the little sea shuttle across False Creek and from there the question is, which way do i go today??? I can walk the city streets and window shop. Stopping at little bistos along the way.
Or I can choose to walk ocean side and take in the beauty of it all. After walking for about an hr or so I find that I am in Stanley Park. Again, do I continue on the seawall or do I cut through the beautiful gardens and paths. I never tire of this area. One day I hope to live there. Look out over the ocean from my patio. But for now I do the hour drive to get to my paradise.

I live in a rural area and love it. I used to live in the city but since moving to the country I knew this was where I was meant to be! My family comes from the mountains.

I like the fact that I am so close to the city with out all that hustle and bustle, but in a few years, closer to retirement, Im hoping I can be right on the water and just walk everywhere. Not have to worry about the traffic

Well, that sounds like a beautiful walk. I live in an area inland where the most you could see if you walked for that amount of time would be corn fields and woods. The woods are nice. I live in a wooded area and get to see a lot of wildlife. I usually spot a deer at least once a week. So that is kind of nice. But nothing like living at the beach or the ocean.
Have a great day on myLot!

Your walks sound very peaceful. Being with nature, that sounds pretty nice as well!
