Hope all have had as a rewarding, productive, and enjoyable day as I have had. Wrote a weeks worth of blog posts for 3 different blogs (family tree blog actually did 3 weeks worth - I really got into my past today). Those are all set to go and I feel wonderful. Have first draft done for short story based on my past and 'memories'. It's a good thing I type by touch not sight because I'm about to wear the letters off my keyboard keys. I feel wonderful though. Off to the grocery store now - other wise will be eating peanut butter and cracks all week (if the peanut butter lasts that long)... So, how has your Sunday been? As productive as mine?

I had a very productive day. First, I boiled a chicken that had been roasted a couple of days ago, so I could pick the meat off the bone. While that was cooking, I weeded the garden - with all the rain we've been having, that was quite a job! While weeding, I picked lambsquarter and some small purslane, then decided it was time to thin the beets. So I cut off the baby beets, cleaned and cooked them, cleaned the beet greens and cooked them, cleaned the wild greens and cooked them. I picked the chicken off the bone and wound up with two meal's worth of meat and two containers of chicken broth for soup or gravy. I froze two containers of greens, ate the beets along with some chicken for lunch. Now I have to sweep and mop the kitchen floor! I felt pretty good about getting it all done, though.

Lambsquarter is also known as wild spinach. Some people call it pigweed, but there are some other plants called pigweed, too. Actually, I had homemade cottage cheese with my chicken and beets! :)

You don't seem lazy to me! I wish I'd got some writing done. I thought about it, but my mind went blank so I did the other things instead.

All I can say is WOW you were very very productive - make me look lazy. Lambsquarter? What is that? I've never heard of it. Fresh beets sound oh so good right now, just had a bowl of cottage cheese beets would have been great with it.

It has been a bit productive. I have entered 10 books on Amazon, and have answered 16 discussions on mylot (yours is 17), I have also posted 3 questions, that are not doing well, but at least I posted them. I have also did one posting on Gather, and read several other people stuff, and read several articles on Associated Content.

You sell books on Amazon? I've been trying to sell some used books on craigslist but so far haven't sold a one. I posted a discussion last night that's only had 3 responses - I really thought I would have gotten more than that but oh well it happens sometimes. I also read some articles on AC and commented on some of my friends articles.

Hi! It was a pleasent Sunday for me yesterday. Saw good ol' Steve McQueen's GREAT ESCAPE, again. I've been away from Mylot for quiet a long time. Haven;t actually read any of your blogs yet, but surely will today. I haven't been writing for very long time now. Thinking of starting a blog, not for general thought, but thoughts that comes out as poems. What do you think about that. Will start it tonight. Keep looking:). God Bless, Regards, Partha

Hi partha - I've seen several blogs that do very well with poetry. I've never been able to write that myself, one poem in my life, I wish I could but just never worked for me. Great Escape - wow haven't seen that in years.

It hasn't been productive in the writing sense at all but we sure did do a whole lot! LOL. I got up this morning and went to church where our attendance was way down. We have a major sickness in one of our core families which resulted in about 20 couples and their children missing from the congregation. After that Mike and I went to the hospital to visit that family. Lauren came home and cooked lunch while we were gone. She grilled Bottom Round Steaks on the Foreman grill, Sauteed yellow squash in the wok and cooked pasta and put in the squash and tossed it in a light cream sauce. Man was it ever good. She has turned out to be a great cook. We came home and I layed down and took a nap. Mike went to church tonight. He said he let me sleep because he knew I hadn't been feeling good. (I normally never take a nap in the afternoon so he knew something wasn't right) Now, I'm watching Gods and Generals and catching up on e-mail.

Gods and Generals - I've never heard of that one will have to check into it, is it good? Sounds like a very productive day to me. I'm sorry to hear about the families and will keep them and yourself in my prayers this evening.

I love civil war period movies - Gone With the Wind is my all time favorite. Have a mission, going to hunt for Gods and Generals on VHS thanks for the tip. I'm the same, horrid time recalling names of actors.

If you like Civil War History (which I do) then yes, it is very good. The graphics were well done so the battle scenes are authentic looking. Robert Duvall and Jeff Bridges are the two big names in it, but there are several faces that most people would recognize, even if, like me at this very moment couldn't put a name with them.

Let's see... went for a walk, bought some edibles, cut the grass, wound some floss on the floss cards, helped a friend put together a shelving unit then replace one end table with another... yeah, I guess it's been productive.

Hello, My day have been productive, I have finally shared with my hubby, what I have been doing at the computer these past few hours, I had to tell him about My Lot, be sai dit sounds good but it is just not for him, which is ok by me. I used to write poetry and journals, so My Lot is ok with me, there are times I treat My Lot like a job and take breaks in between checking on my love ones, and preparing meals etc.I hope to gain a little extra income from My Lot, because this is somthing I enjoy doing, and I could use a extra little income. Happy MY Lotting!

I don't make much money here but it's fun, I learn a lot, and I get to meet some really great people. The money is just an added bonus when I get it.

I wrote 3 articles for AC yesterday and one or two small blog posts. Did a lot of promotion on Twitter. And helped a Liberal friend of mine on what to expect in a written debate with a conservative on his blog.

That was a productive day - I have ideas in my head and on list of 'to dos' for AC articles but not anything I particularly feel excited about, just something to write for few bucks. May work on those this week if time permits. I made such a mess of my account at twitter I haven't done much of anything there - going to take some time to clean it up and make it productive time there.

I'll keep that in mind - I did a couple Christmas related articles last year but didn't concern myself with the keyword content and did post them late in the season. Thanks for the tip :)

Well Sunday (yesterday) I was reasonably productive. I posted to my blog for the first time for a while since we moved house - somehow all the business of moving thwarted my intentions to write to my blog each day. I also wrote loads of responses here on myLot. It's not that anything else could have distracted me because it poured with rain here all day.. - Derek

Yep rainy days are great for writing, we didn't have rain yesterday but it was cloudy and I don't have anything to do outside now anyway, no yard or garden :( I miss those greatly. I have one blog I didn't post to for 2 years but had great fun writing for it yesterday.

Good for you! I'm happy to hear that someone's Sunday turned out so well. My Sunday was abominable. Would have been better to stay in bed. But today (Monday) is turning out much better. I learned some important lessons from yesterdays mistakes and am determined not to repeat them today. Tonight is cash out for one of my sites. This week I did almost $25, so yippee for me! Guess Thursday and Friday were my big days. My weekends are rarely productive and Monday is my cleanup day, just getting back into the swing of things. Being a stay at home/work at home mom, my work week begins on Tuesday. Or, at least it feels that way. Best of luck on the upcoming week. Thanks for the boost of inspiration. I feel motivated to get back to my blogging.

Oh dear I have to admit I am totally confused what your schedual is but then I'm confused with mine also :) I'm glad I helped to motivate you - I don't really care for the blog side of writing but helps to promote my more detailed articles and I would love to drum up business where I could write for others and get paid again but I refuse to go through a service again. I made good money but feel I was taken advantage of too - I certainly know my efforts weren't appreciated. I want to eventually go completely freelance but that's a bit down the road - my goal though.

If only I had been that productive . . . I keep taking too many breaks, finding other things to do . . . and I really should be writing -- a LOT! It seems like when I sit in my chair, my rear goes to sleep, and next thing you know, so does my mind!

That's what usually happens to me - too many distractions and I'm easily distracted. Not so today - I accomplished exactly what I set out to do and then some. I'm feeling pretty good about myself - for once :)

I know at times I have nothing at all to say but for a blog to be good you need to post regularly. All the writing I did yesterday I set so posts will go up automatically one a day for 5 days. My family tree blog I have posts ready for 2 weeks but will go in and add extr personal touches here and there - it's been stagnet for a couple years so am bringing it back to life.

My Sunday was spent with my family and my boyfriend. Last Friday (JUne 5) was my birthday so we had a post-birthday celebration party at home. I cooked my famous carbonara and spent time talking with my family members, playing with my niece, sleeping and of course going to church. I had my hair done to add some "edge" to my personality. I do not usually open my computer during weekends because I consider weekends for the family and for personal things. Overall, I consider my weekend ,specifically my Sunday very productive and relaxing as well.

What a wonderful day you must have had - I don't see my family near as much as I would like. Happy belated birthday and how neat you got your hair done, I need to do something with mine but can't figure out what. I seem to be living on the computer weekends as I don't have much time or any brain energy to do much during the week.

Blogs can be time demanding you don't have to post alot but it needs to be frequently and with working 40 hours during the week I don't have time or energy to do much writing during the week. I had one of those days a few weeks ago - childhood friend I hadn't seen in over 20 years as well as 4 of her sisters, I didn't get home until almost mid-night which is not like me at all.

I miss working in the yard, mine where I'm living now is the size of a postage stamp and the landlord mows that little bit. I am going to get a couple tomato plants I think I found a spot I can put this week though.

I'm glad you were able to be that productive on your sunday. My sunday was spent taking care of my son - he god the flu, bad. And I'm afraid that today I was battling that same flu myself, so nothing really positive in the production department. Then again, it gave me a chance to come here today, and being able to participate in a few discussions which is actually good :) Have a great week.

That's really productive of you, congrats. I've been trying to gain more inspirations for my poems. I'm so loving them now; trying to create more as I go along, with more genres too. So, it's cool that your blog is coming on great. Keep it up. I love blogging too and have slowly come back to it.

You are right, faith..in blogs we can do whatever we like; post links till we get tired and whatnot, ha.. I do that too sometimes and when the mood comes for me to upload videos and songs, I'll do that all the time. I tend to love writing poems a little here and there, so that's my #2 passion now, besides mylotting. Good luck with your writings and I hope you succeed in your quest there.

Our Sunday has been great (not productive in the writing area, but great otherwise). We took two of our kids up to visit my husbands mom, and also took along one of my older daughters and our 8 month old granddaughter. We hadn't seen her for a long time so it was really nice to spend some time with her. Afterwards, we picked up two of our other kids who had been away for the weekend. In a little while, my husband and I will play a game of Scrabble, which we haven't done in a while, so all in all it's been a great day :) Here's to a great week :)

Writing is just so wonderful and having others read it and enjoy what you write is very special. Even something as simple as what we write here has it's rewards. Some people have a special of writing whereby they can entertain their audience. Your words are sometimes equivalent to photos, they can be a snapshot of a moment in time.

I heard someone say one time a good writer is an artist - they paint a picture with their words. I love writing and sharing with others so it's great encouragement for me when people read what I've written. I think that's so for any writer - if no one reads it then what is the use.
