I think all of us have had a bad experience with Wal-Mart. My worst was when my kids were babies, I had traveled to see my mom with the three of them. I only traveled with enough formula to make it to her house (it was a two day trip to get there) so when I got there off to wal-mart I went, I had to stock up on diapers, wipes and formula. As my children were on Alimentum at the time a can of formula cost me 20.00 I needed enough for the week so I had to purchase six or so cans. So lets say six cans at 20.00 each two big boxes of diapers, wipes etc. I spent close to 300.00 that day. well I get to my moms and I HAVE NO formula. I go back to the car, I call wal-mart. I have my receipt. I take everything back with me that I purchased I get to the store and the cashier looks at me like I have lost my mind, the manager accuse me of trying to steal the formula. They even freaking call the police. They then tell me they will rewind all the tapes from that day and watch them but it could take up to 48 hours, well my kids still need formula so I go and buy two more cans of it. I look at the manager and asked him if I really have the other six cans at home and am trying to run one over you, why the heck am I spending another 45.00 on more formula for my kids.. HMM WHY the next day I get a call from the district manager with an apology the cashier had given the formula to another cashier, turns out they caught them doing this on many transactions that day, all because of me, turns out they admitted to doing this and returning the merchandise to other wal-mart's to get the money back. I called and wrote everyone I could, my mom works at a tv station, they even did a report on it for me and on how poorly I was treated.. revenge is sweet at times is it not

That is horrendous! Good for you for sticking up for yourself. Thankfully you had money to buy more formula....I doubt I would have. I'd have been livid. Walmart does have a bagging set-up that makes it pretty easy for someone to pull of such a scam if one were given to such things. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten home and realized that I was missing some of my purchases. Luckily, I've gone back and had no problem in getting my items back to me. I don't go in there often as I don't like what they stand for. When I do, I have taken to double checking the little bagging wheel to make sure I've gotten all my bags.

Wow that is crazy! I know many people that have bad experiences at Wal-mart. I try not to shop there anymore. And if I do I use the self checkout. But they usually aren't good either. lol

My mom is a walmart employee and lives about 3 hours from us. Last August I had surgery and my mom came to stay with us to help me with the 4 kids. She went into our local walmart and asked one of the workers where she could find something and they directed her to the area, she went there and was unable to fine the item so she asked a passing worker if they could helper her locate the item. She responded with "Its Wednesday and there is not customer service on Wednesdays". I was livid that she had been treated that way. Of course I called the store manager and reported the girl and I do not shop at that store any longer but none of that will change the way she treated my mother. She is lucky I was physically healing or I would have ... well lets just say dont disrespect my mom!!!
