I am a bit sad on the way our officials lead our country (the Philippines) but I still have hope... and I believe we can still have a better country in the future... How about you? Do you have good government officials or head of state?

I do not trust Obama at all either. He is by far the worst thing that has happened to this country in MANY decades. His dream is to turn the United States into a muslim and a Socialist country. He has already managed to secure government ownership of General Motors. One can only wonder what he and the other government goons are going to try to take over next. Voter stupidity and ignorance got him elected, and now our country is going to suffer the consequences of his actions for at least four year. I hope American voters are not stupid enough to elect him to a second term, if we even still have the right to vote by then...

huh? I dont think Obama CAN convert USA to a Socialist country.. That's too impossible. And as far as I know, he make a step to own GM because he wanted to help employees that might lost their job if GM will fall on its pit... He just made the right thing, I believe.
I respect your opinion and I am just casting my opinion... So, why don't you try to look at the good things that he planned and trust on it. I think, all of those will bear fruit.
You're lucky to have a good leader like him.

I am from Pakistan. Our leaders are only symbol of corruption they dont care for public. We have very low literacy rate and the leaders use old racism tricks to get vote, they use peoples on the name of family, religion and state. I always pray Oh God plz help us to save our country. I dont trust on them they always working for America in reward of dollars.

Pakistan is a great country with great peoples, friendly and cooperative humans. We have strong and healthy nation but problem is this that we dont have much literacy rate and politicians dont encourage it practically coz they know when peoples got education they will never go after them, never give them a chance to sit in government seats because of their corruption.
Right know we are busy with war against terrorism as we are neighbors with Afghanistan. America is giving huge money, dollars to fight against terrorists and all politicians and president are only collecting that money for themselves. They spend about 20% to 30% on war and rest of the money going to their swiss bank accounts. They dont care about peoples of country. Terrorism in increasing and public is dying in my country. Our old cultural tribal system and racy family traditions dont allow peoples to vote for others, so these corrupt guys get elected again and again. I always pray form God plz save my country and my peoples.

Hey... Its my first time to hear that Pakistan leaders are like that. It's also sad that your country's literacy rate is that low. Aren't your government spending much on education?
Here in the Philippines, we have a corrupt government too but we are spending too much for free education. We have 93% literacy rate.
Tell something more on your country please. I would love to hear more.

Its nice to hear that thing from you though. You know what, in to Book of Romans in the bible, God commanded people to respect who ever will be in the position. He said that there is a purpose why those leaders allowed to rule- be it an evil one or a good one. The Philippines is a christian country so, we have to follow this and trust God with his plan for our country.
Thanks so much for a very nice response... God bless you and our country the Philippines.
