Have you ever wondered why people request you as a friend?

In mylot, there were some hundreds of people sent a friend request to your mail box in mylot. Have you ever wondered why would they do that? From your personal perspective, can you guess the reason? For me, they want to be my friend because they had read my previous postings, and they like them. I couldn't find any other reason for that.

Well thats one of the reasons and some actually are interested to get to know you by requesting friends request and some just want to add you to their friends list there are lots of reasons why fellow mylotters request for friends request I guess for some they find my avatar quit interesting lol
Well some may find you funny some liked you as a friend or many more then some would want to follow your discussions you make many many reasons I can come up with but there is only one reason to top it all and that is they just want to be your friend thats why.

I think they just want to make friends. Some may want to have more friends to respond to their discussions. Others probably just want to fill their friends list. I think nobody want to have zero friends in their friends list. I, however, have not asked or requested somebody to be my friends. People like file up requesting to be added which make up my friends list. I am happy, however, to have have them as friends. And to all those who added me. I really appreciate it.

I don't want to guess why they ask friend request, but i do friend request to someone that i can visit the page and see the started discussion or the discussion they respond. I do not leave comments to my friends profile often but i do responding to their discussion if it is my topic of interest.

Everytime I get a friend request I wonder what made them want to add me. I think a lot of people out there just add whomever to get a huge friend base. I on the other hand only add people that I read and enjoy or find interesting. Or sometimes I find someone who I feel I have a lot in common with, etc. etc.
Speaking of friends - it's about time I go through my list and see if I need to get rid of any friends. For example if they're no longer posting.

Yes, I think they add me either because they like my postings or they just want to connect with other MyLot members and comments and view each other's postings next time.
