True Friendship

How do you know if someone you know are your real genuine friends? I have had experience where I used to have a best friend but she turned out to be betraying me all this while and that was the end of the friendship. It is funny how sometimes you think you can trust someone and that someone is actually taking your trust in them to their own advantage and without even care if it hurt you or not. I am very careful now with people and I think getting to know the person better and look into their characters and personality in time to come will show you a sign or two about a person if you really look at it. It's so sad the you have got such people who doesnt care of you.
It is very hard to know, what is in the mind of person?. In this world those persons are lucky who is really having true relationships.You can judge the person with whom you are having relationship only at the bad time.
If you really wanted to know the opposite person then you should be able to read psychology of others he he he just joking.

Well we do meet this kind of people in our lives some day or the other. Just one of those things that happened to me.

I think genuine friends will be always there with you to support whether in problems or in happiness,such a friend is difficult to get as world is very selfish but just recently I met a friend who used to be there with me always in my needs and happiness,though we met in middle of life we understand each other and shared our problems too and became close friends.

Yeah and to find friends who really support you in time of happiness and sadness is not many and yeah you are right about the selfish world.Many people are to themselves only. I guess it is also to do with the kind of people we meet along the way and how we going to make sure we do not get played out by a so-called friend.
