Hello, aditya_k85! Well, the answer is no. We earn from our own activity and not from the others. Earnings depend on the quality of the post, whether it is a discussion, response, or a comment. For more information about earnings, read on the FAQ's section. Happy mylotting!

boogerman . . I bet that cut and paste feature comes in handy when trying to help us new ones around here :) and you are a nice one to have the patience to keep on helping. Sometimes you can read all the FAQ's over and over . .but for some reason when a fellow friend :) says it in a post like this, it just sinks in better.
Thanks to MyLotters like yourself to help steer the way ;)

Not really. You are only paid if you reply to the responses by the others and also if the responses you get are highly rated( Thats the '+' sign to the right). In short you get paid not by the quantity of responses but by the quality of responses.

I think more responses you had doesn't change your earning until you give a comment to those responses. So, you better give comment to all responses you had. That way surely can boost your earning. I've tried that, one day I just testing myLot earning, I don't give any response to another discussion but I just only give a comment to every single responses from the discussion I've started. The day after that, I check my account here and find out increase on my earning. So, I come to my conclusion that every comment I give to my started-discussion's responses does count as an earning point here.

I am also new to myLot. Well, I read the responses in one of the discussions "Earn more from your own discussions" and found that certainly our own discussions help us earn more. Then too, a veteran can help us better.

Welcome to mylot! Well, we can earn more from our own discussions when we comment back on the responses. The post must be of good quality so it will be paid.

You earn for your own activity and others earn for their own activity. If you start a discussion, you can earn by posting good quality comments back to the people who respond to you. This keeps your discussion growing, encouraging more people to respond and giving you more opportunity to comment back... you see the cycle? :) However, as others have said, it's important to post quality comments - don't go through and just post "thanks" to each person. That is actually against myLot's posting guidelines and won't help you.

Ok I will keep that in mind from now on . I earlier thought that commenting back is not that necessary but your reply clears things up for me.

actually getting more users to response to your discussion will not cause you to earn. but! if you commented on their responses you will be get paid.. commenting on users responses is what we all know so called PARTICIPATION in our earning record. but keep on making some topics so you can help us, you can help mylotters to earn.. good day.
