Mine is Brenda Novak. She writes romantic suspense books. Her book are different from the average romance novel - which I love! I don't like be able to predict what is going to happen. I went to the library one day and grabbed a book by her and loved it!I read the three books in the Last Stand trilogy (Trust Me, Stop Me, and Watch Me).
Now I'm reading a book in the Stillwater trilogy called Dead Giveaway. I can't wait to read the other two books in this trilogy. She has other books as well that I plan to read!

My fav author is Dan Brown. After reading his novel i don't like to touch any of the other books i used to read (i was a die hard reader of sidney sheldon books). The way Brown introduces a scenario, the overloaded information wich seep into our min, description and histry of places making it familiar to you even if you havn't seen it and many more techniques to keep the reader on the edge of the seat - truly amazing! :)

I like K.A. Applegate. Sci-fi, yet manages to keep it modern.
Also, Rick Riordon is a good one. The Percy Jackson series was well written, and managed to keep me reading (Which is a first).

Well I have several but here are some of my favorites. I like C.S. Lewis, of course he is famous for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardobe. The other is Roald Dahl, he is the wrote the book Matilda. This book was made into a movie starring Danny Davito in the early 90's. I also love Joyce Meyers. She is minister and writes spritual and inspirational books. She has like 20 some-odd books out but some of my favorites are Battlefield of the Mind, When God When and Help me I'm depressed.

My favorite author (besides myself lol ) is J.R.R. Tolkien. I've been reading and rereading Tolkien since high school, and I thoroughly enjoy his works. He is, in fact, the main inspiration for my dream of making it as an author. Although his writings are fantasy, and mine science fiction, one can see some of his influence reflected in my writings. and, like him, I too am a devout Catholic, which also has an impact on my works.
My favorite Tolkien character has to be Samwise, since I know what it is like to struggle and sacrifice, and to be a part of the working class. Sam is stalwart, trustworthy, selfless, and loyal, even until the bitter end. These are traits which I admire, and hope to emulate, though I often fail in many regards.
