Why do we fight when we know we are wrong?

after spending, an hour or so letting a girl text message fight me, i have concluded to delete her from my phone and not deal with it. my phone still wont stop vibrating from a number im not sure is :) ha
anyway
The question dwells in the ignorance of understanding. To judge is to be blind. Why do we confront others with less than significant evidence that we make up in our heads and expect another to not be defensive? "i thought you were doing this" "it appeared to me that you were.." why does every action mean that much? take for example, a bank robbery happened and you just so happen to be walking by the bank. Your profile is taken and automatically you're the bank robber. When did our brains begin to fill up with such muck that we want to take it out on other people? Is it our self confidence that is clearly unfed that rips at the tatters of another's? like lawyers that publicly defend the guilty. I'm a victim of rape in a hospital and i spent three years in the justice system to have him walk free because his father makes more than my own. Where does truth reside? Because i would like to live there.

I have come across this issue a lot of times. There are lots of people in this world who will never agree their faults. They will be keep on fighting or arguing even though they know that they are wrong. You should have a great heart to accept that you have done a mistake.

I think people argue when they are wrong sometimes because of pride, or because of being indignant.
Sometimes people actually just think they are right, but there are times when they just want to prove they are right (even if they are wrong).
I think I caught myself doing that a few times in the past. I am hoping that I realized it and stopped doing it.
I'll still argue when I think I'm right, but usually I try to only do that if it's something that is really really important to me. And even then, sometimes we have to realize that there is just no way the other person is going to see our point of view, then we have to be wise enough to accept that we won't agree.

I think that we fight even if we are wrong because:
1. There exist many definitions of right and wrong and often we have difficulty reconciling the difference between various definitions (and interpretations).
2. People like to think (and make others think) that they're right even when they're wrong.
Of course, all this stuff depends on how you view mankind and their actions.

Your question is relevant...where does justice reside when everything is falling apart. We may never find the justice we so craved deeply here on this world. But
believe me karma doesn't sleep at all. It will be the one to give you justice. Just wait, believe me. I been there.

We all want to be right sometimes, even at the cost of the welfare of others. I guess that's just human nature, something we need to transcend.

It is our habit to always defeat the opponent person. It never depends whether we are correct or not.

But morality is the issue. Life is not supposed to be "survival of the fittest" Personally, i feel it is not my habit to defeat a person I know is right. Conflict is pointless when there is no reason to start it.

Justice is a man made system... there for any justice system is flawed by mans flaws. Karma is a cosmic system in which balance is everything. Rest assured that while you may not can count on man's justice you can surely count on cosmic balance as it cares nothing for nor does it opporate within man's laws. Not too sound too "New Age" because I believe that Karma is God's own way of reprimanding wrongs while we are still alive. I think if its bad enough... sometime God reserves the right to deal with it when it's time for us to be judged.
Why do we confront others when we have less than complete truth... My only theory on that one is this. To do that you need to have complete truth. Truth is a commodity that's valued more than water in a desert.... but given less than rain in a desert. That is to say that everybody it wants... not everyone is prepared to give or share it. The result? Doubt and Paranoia set in and clouds one's judgment. Why do you think communication is the cornerstone of any good relationship? Because great communication kills any doubt and paranoia that arises.
Just my thoughts...
