Is Global warming a myth or a truth?

Yes!We have the weather change in our country,India too.And the seasons are not the same as before.This climatic change has become common everywhere.About the global warming,earlier from another discussion I learned that it is purely a myth.The melting of the glaciers is normal and natural and it will not do any harm like flooding the earth.Cheers!

Global Warming is the truth. I live in the city that located on the mountain, the weather in my city used to be cold, but now my city feels so hot even on rainy season. And last December 2008, there was flood in my city because of the 2 hours of heavy rain, it was the first flood in my city EVER! So I believe that global warming has turned into global warning. Global Warming is really a big problem we have to deal with nowadays, because it has the potential to change forever our lives and our planet's environment as we know them, and this would affect the whole mankind. Yes, of course. The whether become warming than ever before. In my country, recent years there are some areas have snow but many years ago people never see snow. Also, we have to put on T-shirt in the early of May but some year ago, we used to put on T-shirt in July.

i believe that now global warming is started to be happen.in my country now we can predict what season that are happening rigth now.it should be summer now but rain is still falling.i have no idea about what happen,many of natural dissaster happen on my country that caused a lot of victim.so if this is not a global warming effect what else that we can call for this situation.we must be more aware about this situation and as we can we try to decrease the effect of global warming.so for all the people inthe world lets started again global warming.

Nobody really knows if global warming is true as these are just scientific theories and understanding of the experts about the world around us. I think what is happening now is because of global warming. There has been a lot of changes in the weather if we compare it about 10 or 20 years ago. In fact if you notice, it is very hard to tolerate the heat of the sun right now as compared way back then. Perhaps this changing pattern of rains and other things are all because of the effect of global warming.

Oh you better belive it's true. In many parts of the globe people are sweating like crazy because the temperature is definitely higher. Let's just hope we come to our senses soon enough to prevent this from getting worse.

Global warming is real...as what you have said, here in the philippines, april is still summer but we experienced rains during summer...We dont usually get tornadoes here, but i think some occurrence happened last year... The bagyong frank was very devastating... its almost always high tide in our beaches... its really really hot right now and then it rains so hard in the afternoon...that didnt happen before... and have i mentioned that its really very hot that when we go out at noon time, sometimes it causes heat stroke?

Yes, same phenomenon in China, when I was a child, there indeed had four seasons per one year, but now, I can only feel summer and winnter,weather changes very badly. Couple of days ago, I just hear some province suffer huge hailstone, but in the past, it should be there. I read from newspaper that huge iceberg is melted increasingly in north and south pole, which means more and more land will be cover by sea. It's terrible to hear that and I can not imagine what we will face to in the future.

yes global warming is the truth. due to population increase the peoples mis use the nature and they destroy the nature. destroying forest may be harmful. due to this no rain falll. please don't put plastics in soil. keep it safe and to give to municipality.

I believe in this phenomenon.The globali is getting warmer and warmer.I still remember that it was very cold in winter in my hometown when I still a kids.However,the winter is not very cold now.

As I am from India & right now here summer & I am middle of India where we heate a lot near about 47.0.... can you I imagine in such as summer season we got rain as main times which was not expected & weathers somewhat dumudilty types............ As in India after evry 4 months seassion gets change but in todays date what's happend at what time we can not say..............

Global warming is something that is really happening. Lots of animals from farther sound of us are migrating nearer to us because it is not a better temperature here than it is down south. There have been more and more heat related deaths in my area every year. It just gets worse. Unfortunately not enough people are really working to find a fix for the damage that has been caused and much of the 'cures' are just a bandage for the problem, not something to fix it once and for all. So, for us this means that we should just live more 'eco' and try not to look so far into the future that we freak out! Yikes!

Global Warming is a truth! There is lots of science that proves it. For example, many of us know the CO2 level is too high. Scientists have studied the temperatures and CO2 levels by extracting ice deep down in the glaciers, etc. They are able to see that this decade has the highest CO2 levels then ever before in history. Everyone needs to start doing their part in cleaning up the environment and keeping it clean.

I think it's been convincingly proven that global warming exists, Mr Al Gore is making great strides to make the World aware of the problem but it needs all governments to get onboard and do it quickly. More money should be plowed into the problem and solutions sought. Interesting you say rainy season comes early now in the PI, here in Thailand rainy season comes later and doesn't last as long. this is a dilemma for the farmers who rely on the rains for a good crop of produce. There are so many rice paddies here failing because of the lack of water.

I think its true. Us humans have to worry because we can create a largw effect but rarth will still repair otself wen we r extinct

Well I'm no expert. I do believe global warming is real, maybe not quite the catastrophe some make it out to be, but real. I don't think man is the ultimate cause, it's a phase the planet is going through.
