I just feel that it's a cool invention in a way, but there is just that tiny fear that history will repeat itself. But touches on wood, of course I would wish for no disaster ever. Can you provide the links to this please, to see if it's a joke or not? Other than that, ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME??!! I'm going to have to rant on this one. Didn't people learn from history of what happened to the FIRST Titanic? WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY SMOKING??!! I've heard about "forgiving and forgetting", but there's also another side of the coin: "Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it." The first one got a big scar on its side from striking an iceberg even when the captain and the crew spotted it and tried to avoid it! Plus they boasted that the ship is unsinkable! UN-FRIGGIN'-SINKABLE! If it was that unsinkable then why did it easily get hit by an iceberg? Isn't that a high-and-mighty, boastful type of thinking that leads to such types of mistakes that led the ship to its tragic ending almost a full century ago? It doesn't add up! It doesn't make sense! You know what? I'm against this. I'm COMPLETELY against their creation of a Second Titanic, much less even getting on it because of its tragic past! NO SHIP IS UNSINKABLE! NONE AT ALL! If the original passengers and the crew of the First Titanic came back as ghosts or spirits they'd tell you the same thing! Why rebuild the same artifact if you don't learn from it's original history and fix the mistakes and errors? This is complete absent-minded nuttiness!

No I don't think money should be wasted on making another Titanic ship. I would not go on it due to what happened in 1912 and history has a tendency to repeat itself. No thank you!

the technology this time is far more advance than the time when the first titanic sank so i believe that it would be safer now to go on board a giant ship once more.. i even find it exciting and i want to be on that ship on its first sail. i may find my jack there.=)

i dont think its a good idea first,what will people think about it when they step on to the ship made same as the one which sank in 1912?won't they wonder about like"will it sink again like that one?" second,i think the old titannic is a memory for the whole world to memorize that carefulness is the essence and man should not be arrogant about what they create.

well, to be honest, i dont think they should build another Titanic but since the last survivor recently passed away (she was just a few weeks old when the Titanic sunk) i dont think it would harm anyone...but would anyone go on it due to the name? i dont think i would!

no I didn't know that they are makeing another titanic. In a way I think it would be cool because it hopefully would be design like the last titanic but with mondern technoligy. I know it would be very sad to bring up memories of the last ship is going to be hard, but I think it also a good teaching material about the saftey guide lines that ships must have now for a good voyage. I do hope that will decorate it like the old one to give it more a romatic feel to it, not like the one today were they are I am not how to say it. but you know what I mean, I think. I know if I every have the opportunity to go see and sail on it I would, it can not be any worse then riding on an airplane these day. You never now weather the plane is going to make it or not. That is a subject for another day. LOL

I think it would be a cool memory! But a terrible one as well. It could make people very sad and angry for people who had relatives and parents on that boat. Every time I think of a boat I think of the Titanic movie. Although that movie was a giant fiction sap story, it still could be true. But the part with the guy locking him in a room as it sank and the girl coming in and getting him out with an ax, nah that wasn't believable but every other part seems to be quite true!
