If you can choose your own family, would you still choose your family now?

I have been contemplating on this question for quite sometime already. And the more I think of it, the more clearer my answer become. NO. If I do have a chance to choose my family, I won't choose my family now. Many would say...what kind of child or sibling I am to say things like this...Maybe those are people with great family to start with. Mine, I don't now. I am trying my best to stop thinking like this but i can't. My family contributed a lot as to what I am like now. All negative feelings...I have those most of the time. And I do not like it. I will stop now as I might say more things that I shouldn't. I am just sad and would like to express my feelings. Now, only one thing is for sure, I will try my very best to change things so that my children won't experience what I am experiencing right now.

If I could choose my family I would choose the family I have because I know them very well and I can always turn to them for advice and stuff like that, But if I choose someone else for my family I dont know how they would help me through life and the hard times I have...And with my family I can always turn to...So I would keep my family Ps...Sorry if this is a little confusing its 2:30am... xD

Lucky are you for having such a wonderful family. :) But I guess, not all will be given to us. I am lucky in some ways but not in terms of family. Treasure every moment you have with your family.

I don't have an ideal family, coming from a broken family is not fun. I feel the same thing maybe if I could choose a family. I would choose the one that is not dysfunctional. God forgive me but what i say is true.

i don't know why you ask this question,my question is different from you. now i am happy with my family. i hope i can be their child next generation if there is.

I'd keep a few of them but not others. My mom and my sister are the best I could ask for. I may get irritated at my mom on occasion, but she'd do anything in the world for me. My sister and I are opposites in most ways, but we balance eachother out and she's honestly the biggest influence in my life. My daughter is my entire world and I wouldn't trade her for anything. Some of my extended family and my dad I would like to replace lol. I knew so many good dads growing up, but none of them were mine. I had 3 amazing guys who were friends parents who treated me like thier own. I would have loved to have them as my dad. My husband I'm undecided on. He has so many good and bad aspects.. only time will tell

Of course ... I think I will never have such as my family ... I love every single moment I spend it with them ... I will never think of changing my family for any reason ... thanks for Allah for giving me my family ... have a wonderful day ... happy myloting ...
