four months ago i resigned from my job of almost ten years. it's really a tough decision to make but when you're a mother you will always put your child on top of your list and leave everything else behind. my 3yo daughter is always sickly and almost had asthma that's why i decided to leave work. at first it's really hard, i have that mixed feeling of excitement because of the time i'll be spending with my daughter and take care of her personally. but i'm also worried whether i am prepared to become a full time mom and of course there's also the financial aspect because now it will only be my husband who has income, i am working for almost 20 years and i am financially independent. i'm scared of what changes or adjustments i have to make. at first, i thought i'd get bored because i'll only be at home and there are nothing to do. well, i'm totally mistaken, because being a housewife is really a tough job. now i realize what all the other full time moms were saying are true that it's a 24/7 job with no day-off, but the fulfillment that comes with it is worth far more than everything i left behind. and that's what makes me a proud stay-at-home mom. how about you fellow SAHM, did you experience the same thing? what happened and what did you do?
