In Italy we use to eat pasta almost once a day (sometimes also twice it depends).
It is very important for me to eat it everyday, and i prefere pasta with vegetables instead of tomato sausage.
I'm very curious to know if around the world do you eat pasta, and how many times per week...
and expecially how do you season it!thanks

ha ha pingi . I warned you on that one . . I started to eat that when I was pregnant .. and when I was I had to have ketchup on everything . .so one day I tried it and I have loved it ever since. . trust me no one but me seems to like this one!
Cream, butter, garlic, parseley and Parmesan cheese makes a classic Alfredo Sauce .. it is creamy and delicious especially over some nice raviolis! Or even tossed up with some linguine!

Pingi68, pasta can be purchased at almost any fast food chain in the Philippines. The Filipinos like spaghetti a little sweet and saucy. We prepare it with sauteed ground beef, ham, hotdogs, tomato sauce and condensed milk. In the provinces, they prefer coconut milk. Lasagna has become a favorite dish in parties such as debuts, wedding anniversaries, Christmas reunions, etcetera. So when are you coming to Manila? We are also a pasta fed people.

we have pasta about 3-4 times each week. Sometimes with alfredo sauce, sometimes with meatballs and sausage, sometimes with garlic and oil and sometimes with ricotta. We love it but being italian we were raised on pasta.

Here in the Philippines, althought that we had pasta during special occasions like birthdays parties, christmas celebrations, and new year's eve: me and my family still like pasta particularly to myself who loves pasta even more than anyone in my family. I prefer pasta with white sauce like carbonara and alfredo because i like the rich creamy taste of the sauce which blends very well with the pasta (particarly with flat pasta) which makes me full and contented. I also enjoy other sauces like pesto and other tomato based sauces but not the tomato sauce which my mother personally made because she always put sugar to the sauce (i don't like the taste)

I probably eat pasta about once a week and it depends what mood I am in as to which type I will eat. I like spaghetti and penne as either a bolognese or a chicken and sauce mix.
