Is chatting useful to develop communication?

Chatting is a Great way to communicate. I feel via the Chat rooms online, the Social Networking sites, and sites like myLot where you can communicate with others and comment back end up being a Great thing for so many for sure. I know that personally though you have to watch sometimes to make sure you don't let those type of things control who you become as well.

I think chatting is quite useful in developing communication. To tell you honestly, I began chatting way back in early 2001. I have met friends all over the world through chatting. My current bf, I also met him from chatting last year, we are in a serious relationship and have spent vacations together last year and last month. He lives in Belgium while I live in the Philippines but chatting has put as up together. We are still chatting to each other especially during weekends. We are planning to live together in the future but not right now as our financial status is not stable yet.

hi dasari100, me and my hubby met on net and we had a chat for five minutes online. he took my fone number and then he generally use to call me rather than chat. everyday in the morning when he use to reach his office and i mine we use to chat , imean just say gus mrng and give lots of hugs and then then no chat till night. then in the night he use to buzz me and then when i use to be free, we generally use to talk on fone. but we met online.

I do agree with you that chatting has really provided a good way for communication and of course have improve the communication aspect in a cheaper way. Now we could easily communicate with people from all over the world and with this we could certainly wider our knowledge as well a gain more friends.

yes i think! because chatting online the best and the easiest way to access our loveso love ones and friends who live far away from us. and in chatting thru yahoo or msn, its costs nothing and the conversation is very clear. i love the technologies now adays really.

IS chatting useful to develop communication? I think it's useful as it surely does help me to pass the time and that is a real bonus for me in my particular situation. I don't know if it really help us to develop strong communication skills while in real life. I think the best judge of that is to just start talking more with the people that you happen to come in contact with on a daily basis. It seems to me that I don't chat as much with my loved ones because I use mylot as my outlet for chatting. Most people know that females chat more than guys do usually. So everything usually works out in the longrun..........Happy mylotting....
