difference between a gelato and baskin and robbines ??????

when i tasted my 1st gelato i found a huge difference between it and other ice creams......did u find something different in them ???????

I think gelato is made with milk rather that cream, as regular ice cream is, so it tastes a little lighter.

Gelato is an italian ice cream and the process of making it is different so that is why it tastes different from other ice creams.

well for me all ice creams are the same.......but you can say that some are more refined or creamier than the other.......i have not tasted ice creams from gelato, i have had ice creams from Baskin Robbins and naturals.......Naturals is any time better as they incorporate real fruit into it, i am never for branded ice creams actually but just because one of my friend persuaded me to have ice cream from naturals i went ahead and tried, and i must say my experience was not that bad.....infact it was great.......
