What are your thoughts/feelings towards and about God and religion? I do not go to church. I haven't been to church since I was 6. I believe that God exists to an extent, but I am not really sure. I know for sure that very religious people creep me out, and I try not to be near them.

I am an atheist and do not buy into the fairy tale they call religion. No god, no heaven, no hell.

Thank you for your reply! You don't believe even a little? What are your thoughts on how we are created or what happens to us when we die? And why do you feel this way? Was it how you were you brought up as a child?

I don't beleive even a little. I think we were evolved, not created. I also think when I die that is it, end of the road type thing.

Wow, you are a real, die hard atheist! Was this how you are raised? I would like to see if that is the determining factor in most of this. Thanks for replying!

Sure I believe in a God. When you're raised that way, sure you're gonna believe. But then, you start making connections between the Bible and the outside world. For example, the half brothers Isaac and Ishmael were gonna struggle against each other forever. Now, watch the news. Israel is always fighting against the Arabs. How could a writer know that this was gonna happen some 4,000 years ago without divine intervention? Anyways, back somewhat on topic, I go to church regularly, not that I really have a choice, but then again, our pastor has some nice stuff to say. I have friends there, it's a nice place. I agree with you, though. Religious creeps do make me kinda... I dunno. Not in a bad way, but I think you know what I mean. It sounds kinda...

Anyone could make a general statement like that. And with 4000 years for it to be seen? I've never heard the story, so maybe there are specifics I haven't gotten. But 4000 years is too long of a time for a statement like "2 sides will fight forever".

No. It said specifically WHICH two sides would fight. The sons of Isaac and the sons of Ishmael. They started fighting as early as when Israel was first established as a nation in ancient times. And now, Israel and the Arabs (Sons of Ishmael, for the most part) continue their fight.

Why not to sure, for the existence of God, my friend. Did you see the wind if you can see it I think you need to be doubtful about God. If you don't see the wind, not create any animals, not create ocean and everything on this world you need to believe that there is a creature that create everything on this planet and universe... If you still not believe that there is God. As the animals who created them and ask the tree's also...
