First off, I would recommend Pixar's new movie UP. It's animated but it still appeals to people of all ages. Second, would be the English broadway musical "The Unsinkable Molly Brown." It's a rag-to-riches story with music and dancing to boot. For hindi movie, I have only watched a few subtitled hindi movie but so far I loved Lagaan. Another underdog story with music and dancing! :D

I have seen the previews for the movie "The Hangover", and it looks really funny. But I guess it just depends on what type of movies you like. That is the only movie that I can recall seeing previews for right now. And I am not familiar with Hindi movies at all, so I wouldn't be helpful with those.
