That's how I feel right now. I didn't sleep well last night, tossed and turned all night my mind just wouldn't quit. Today at work we were so busy there wasn't time to breath between calls. Home now but exhausted and upset stomach.
To top that off we have storms - bad ones, thunder, lightening, and that green haze that normally appears when tornados are near. Getting off line so won't be able to respond this evening but will try to catch up in the morning - unless I spend the night in the basement :(

Yes I have been like that! I have insomnia for weeks at a time. No one really knows why. Just last night I woke up with this harble feeling like I was going to die soon! I tried to get it out of my mind. I couldn't get confertable to save my life. I thank God when this happens I dont work. I have been so tired before I would hear and see things.

Oh dear that would be horrifying having that feeling. Even when not having to work it's still difficult functioning even at home when your so tired - I have to look at a computer monitor all day and I've had times the words and numbers looked as if they were running around the screen - and they weren't really moving at all :(

Oh wow, I hope you didn't get any really bad storms and that you are feeling better. As for being really tired and getting sick to my stomach? No, only when I am very upset, like if I get into a fight with my family or have a loved one die, then I can't even eat. I hope you reply back soon, since I won't know until probably Sat if you don't. I will be praying for you.

Thank you dear - never got bad but it was really ugly. Afraid I'm not feeling any better, never did sleep and another bad day today at work. We've had 3 people in our department of 27 quit in the last 3 days - that tells me there is a big problem. Prayers are always greatly appreciated and I know He will answer - in His time, thank you dear.

There have been many times due to things going on in my life I have felt sick to my stomach with a headache, etc. and a lot of it has to do with things going on in my life as well. I have even missed work a time or two with a headache upset stomache, etc. to where I could not concentrate as well. And then when you have troubles sleeping on top of it to where you end up being worthless and crashing makes it no fun either.

Yep all of the above but feeling a little better tonight and hoping I actually sleep tonight - I didn't go to work today, couldn't/can't afford to miss the time but was sick all night and didn't sleep again. I'm actually glad I did it now though, I mean didn't try going to work. Was like a vacation having a day off in the middle of the week.

I'm feeling a little better today - called in sick and spent the majority of the day networking, felt like I actually accomplished some things I've wanted to do for ages and just never had time or got side tracked.

I know it doesn't sound right but yep it does and doesn't have to be stormy to do it - I'm sure a lot of it has to do with added stress and anxiety due to not sleeping (just makes being tired even worse). I'm sure it's connected with not enough sleep and have been working on trying to get more.

Oh yes..many times, some days I get up and pee then don't get to a bathroom again until I am home that evening.
And I am talking 1 1/2 hours commuting time too.
We had a tornado warning or something across the river when I was coming home tonight
Good luck..hope tomorrow is better

I have done that before - the pee thing but have been making a point of making myself go during my lunch break at work, last thing I need is a bladder infection or something. I also know I don't drink enough water and need to work on that to keep my system flushed out. I doubt tomorrow will be any better but thank you for your good wishes and who knows maybe I'll get to leave work early tomorrow - I will celebrate that even though I need the money desperatly.

Yes. I have felt that way many times. I never seem to get enough rest and my nerves get torn up almost daily over something or the other. I hope everything is fine at your home and no tornadoes touched down. I hate those storms also because we live in tornado alley also.

Survived the night no touch downs or even spottings but I'm telling you I know 'the sign' and we had every indication of one. I know my nerves are on their last thread. Was up most of the night and yet another horrid day at work today - I need a vacation and have no sight of the possibility in the near future.

I actually thought about getting some tylenol Pm today but talked myself out of it :( now I wish I had because I'm still exhausted, didn't sleep at all last night and my mind just won't quit - so much to do, so many things going on, and half to work all week :(
I can't read to sleep - I start reading and will be up all night finishing what I started :)

I have been so tired that I have gotten a headache before, but not an upset stomach.
I have however, gotten an upset stomach because I was so emotionally upset or stressed out. I have been so emotionally tired that it drained on my whole body. It was like having the flu and being extremely sad at the same time.
Either way it isn't a very good feeling. I hope you will get some rest and feel better!

I have been having a horrid time with migrane headaches lately also and am under a ton of stress so maybe it's the stress more than the tiredness that's making me feel sick to my stomach - this is just like the flu but no other signs. Thanks bunches for your well wishes, didn't sleep a bit last night even though I was so tired maybe tonight :)

I wonder if there is a full moon or something...LOL---I had a restless time trying to sleep as well last night and I normally fall asleep the moment my head hits the pillow. I'm not sick to my stomach from lack of sleep, but here I am at 9:31 p.m. which is still early for me, and all I can think of is crawling into bed...WAY too early! Hope you don't get any tornadoes

I ment to check my calendar at work to see if there was a full moon and forgot to do it - I am a firm believer that a full moon brings out the worst. When I worked at the adult foster care home, adults with mental disabilities, we tracked it and nights (I worked 3rd shift, nights) when there was a full moon the residents were always awake a bunch during the night.

Yes that has happened to me too. Stress causes lack of sleep. Then tired, all I can down some mornings is coffee. That of course makes it worse. The weather has been bad here too. Storms and more storms. you aren't alone there. Hope things look up soon.

Well, has been 24 hours and it's beautiful out now, sun is even shining although it's been cloudy all day we didnt get any more storms... Stress is a huge problem these days I need to find a way to deal with it and not let it effect me so much.

Well, Faith, I certainly hope that you are safe! Yes, I have been so tired that I felt sick to my stomach. It is a horrible feeling. I also know what it is like to not be able to shut off your brain at night. It usually occurs when I am overloaded with commitments and not enough time to do it all, and when I am behind on everything -- which is how things are currently. ;-)

I'm sure that's a lot of my problem - overloaded. Between work, the house situation, youngest son (ADHD at 18), and trying to keep up and progress with my writing, bills, everything just seems to come at me at once and I can't deal with any of it.
p.s. made it through the night no tornados thankfully, they do make me nervous and doesn't help any that I sense them :(

this happens to me when i get so stressed out at work. not only that i could not sleep, but also i get depressed and could not pinpoint the exact reason why it is so.
my friend told me to drink warm milk with honey. he said it will make me feel better and will be able to sleep in no time.
i guess there is no harm in trying.
happy myLotting.

I have heard that warm milk helps people sleep and actually used it on a couple residents at the foster care home I used to work at nights but I can't drink milk - got some bad milk years back and I can't bare to look at it now much less even think about drinking it. It did work for the residents though.

Hi byfaithonly, I have felt the way you described. And my hubby has come home so tired before that he throws up, but then after some sleep he is much better. Luckily this is a rare event for him. I guess it's our bodies' way of saying, "time to rest." Take care.

You know something I think you have something there - my body telling me it's time to rest just my mind isn't letting me. Time for a health make-over here I think.

I know what you mean; I haven't been sleeping well at all because of my back and today, especially, I don't feel well and have had a headache. I don't usually get headaches but...I know I'm not getting the required REM sleep and I really don't have a solution as I can't take anything to put me to sleep because then I won't be able to hear CJ if he cries out in the night. Let me know if you find a good solution and I pray you have gotten a good night sleep since you wrote the discussion.

I'm sorry to hear you also haven't been sleeping well. Although I didn't sleep last night because of my own choice (up all night promoting articles - stupid move on my part now I look at it in daylight) but did get several good nights sleep.
Sounds silly to some but I moved my bed slightly so am laying a bit different direction is one thing I did. The second is I can't fall asleep without the tv on (set timer to turn it off after an hour or so) but I read the colors from the tv screen stimulate your brain. Well, they also said the color 'orange' will help relax the brain cells or something - look at an orange for 10 mintues before going to sleep. Well I can't do that so made a point of each night placing a lite tealite candle (slight orangish yellow glow) right on top of the tv. Not sure which worked but every night I've done it I've slept well.

I was exactly where you were last week. It was crazy at the call center where I work, and I had had less than 4 hours sleep in two days. I felt so sick and I was nauseated. Fortunately I was able to get a good night's sleep last Saturday night, so I've been feeling better. Can't get rid of the strange dreams, though. Hope the storms weren't too terrible, and that you are safe.

Actually storms weren't bad at all, strange as we had all the indications of them being really bad. I have been sleeping a little better (until last night when I stayed up all night playing around on the internet). Our call center has been horrible for several weeks now but not just the customers - management is going crazy also so the phone reps are getting hit from both sides.

Please bear with me, I know I'm a bit late! lol I've been so deg gone tired that I couldn't go to sleep! Oh that's an awful feeling! Try try try as I may, my body or mind won't go to sleep because I'm to tired to. I think that's when my body goes into a numb zone till I do finally doze off to twilight land. lol

Hey no problem being 'late' discussion is here until myLot takes it off :) I do know what you mean though - the more you try to go to sleep the more you don't sleep. I've actually been doing better this week - moved my bed slightly and lighting a tea light candle when ready for bed seems to have helped, can't say for sure but have slept better this week.
