I am seriously disappointed

I think it is really crummy that GH and AMC are running virtually the same storyline simultaneously. Twins born to someone who can't afford them, one sold and one kept. The one kept dies and the one sold comes back. Couldn't they have at least waited a little bit between them? Or is there totally no communication between sister soaps on the network?

It looks like all the same stories get recycled over and over again....I don't watch AMC so im' not sure who the twins are on AMC...But yah, it's getting rediculous....I think after a while, they run out of stories...

About as ridiculous as Viki finding out she had twins 25 years or so ago! And now the baby switch. They might run out of stories, but give us viewers some credit for having a brain in our head and not give us such stupid stories we can't even believe in Soap Opera Land!

Haha - yah, the funniest thing about the twins is that they were fathered by different ppl....I dunno..sometimes these soaps are getting abit crazy...Ofcourse, it's not as crazy as soaps like Passions, who use to have witches and magic as a central theme...

Liason at the Nurses Hub - Jason brings Michaek back to the hospital and they talk to Elizabeth
I am sure there is tons of communication going on here. Brian Frons is daytime president, Guza GH's headwriter and Pratt AMC's headwriter used to work together and are always in competition as to who can pull off a better storyline. Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if they got together and planned this and actually share ideas on all levels. Not everyone watches all 3 ABC soaps and there are plenty of other storylines going on, like who killed Stuart? Will Zach and Kendall end up staying married? When will Greenlee return and GH's Sonny/Claudia/Ric, will Michael end up with Carly/Sonny or the Q's? Will Liason ever fully make it back together, why is Touissant back in town? Who really cares if 2 shows have a twons story line going on simultaneously? I sure don't. I find both stories boring quite frankly.

I guess you have a point. I just wish they had staggered the stories a bit.

I have missed a lot. Is that where Rebecca comes into play? She's Emily's twin? Please no! I really wanted her to be Emily.

Yes, she is Emily's long lost twin, sold at birth by poor parents.

I honestly have no idea. I do not watch much television anymore because alot of the shows and channels tend to disappoint me. I spend my time doing other things alot of times.

That's pretty lame. I hadn't noticed because I've lost interest in both shows lately. They are just not doing it for me anymore. I am so tired of the same old stuff-- Carly at war with whomever Sonny is dating or married to, and all of the other things that have been done before. I guess better communication is necessary between the shows, because having the same storyline on both just screams to viewers 'We're out of ideas!'
