I always slept late lately because I kept on watching "One liter of tears". It's a real life story of a 15 year old who has a cerebellar degeneration disease. There's no cure for that disease wherein one who has it will eventually loss mobility.Have you watch it?

yes. i watch it every night. it gives me insight how to improve myself as a person in terms of how to deal with life in general. AYA( name of the character) has to face and deal how her body deteriorates everyday. not to mention how the society will be able to accept her disability. well, she is more lucky because she is covered and given help by their government compared to our country, you deal with your sickness and you are left alone to die. that's how cruel our govt in general.

Thanks gelay!Yes Aya's strength to move on with life amidst her disease only remind us to be a strong person. If Aya can inspire other people why can't us?
I don't know if there's still hope for our country..when all the leaders are fighting just to have positions in the government!(sigh)

I mistakenly read the title as "One liter of tears for GMA". Good I read the other posts before responding.
The promotional trailers made me interested to watch the show. Unfortunately, I often forget to turn on the TV to watch it. But I really like what I am seeing in the trailers so I may try to drop by in Quiapo to buy a copy of the series so I can enjoy watching it sans the commercials.

Thanks for your comment eichs1! Yes, it's better if we watch it with no commercial break. We just have to ask apology for Chairman Edu for buying pirated DVD. It's really tempting because it's very cheap and like my reply in other comments I really have to sleep early starting June 15 so I decided to watch it beforehand so that I will not miss an episode of it.

We have finished watching "One Liter of Tears" over the internet. The story is really touching and I felt the pain of a teenager that supposed to be enjoying her life, has dreams and ambitions but because of her sickness, she didn't attain them.
I hope you can finish this telenovela and you will really enjoy it.

Hi there cherry! I've finished watching it also but I can't help watching it over again. I didn't cry one liter of tears when I first saw it but I cry rivers of tears.(Gush!)lol! Kidding aside, I just felt the pain so much. I was thinking what if that happened to one of my family members.(knock on the wood)It's really painful just thinking about it. But I was amazed how that girl fight until the end. Her story was put into a book and sold 18,000,000 copies(during the filming) and counting-If I'm not mistaken. Truly, her story was such an inspiration to everyone specially to all of us who have complete ability to do things we want.

Yes and I hope by now they already found a cure for that disease. You know what? I bought a DVD tape of it and have finished watching the full story because when the kids are in school this June 15 I may not be able to get up early if I kept on watching it very late at night.
