it sounds like you're into that really emo sound. Try listening to a band called the spill canvas, if you haven't yet. They have that sound that's fairly similar to dashboard confessional. Another band you might like is the juliana theory, although it sounds similar, it's from the 90s, so not really that new, but yeah.
