Here are two fun games you can play anywhere, anytime. They are great for when you're bored waiting in line, on a long car ride, or just as a fun activity! These games don't require any supplies, just at least two people:
1) The Rhyme Game
I've heard this game called "inky pinky" before, but I just call it the rhyme game. It is very simple. One person gives a clue, and the other person tries to guess the answer. The answer always rhymes, and is usually two words. For example:
Person 1 gives the clue: "a hilarious rabbit"
Person 2 answers: "funny bunny"
Another example:
Person 1 gives the clue: "a stout feline"
Person 2 answers: "fat cat"
So all you have to do is think of a two words that rhyme, then describe those words together to make the clue. It's that simple and lots of fun! You can be as creative as you like, and it gets REALLY fun when you get a little dirty :)
2) Before and After
This game is also very simple. I think it was originally on Wheel of Fortune, but it can be played anywhere. One person thinks of a "before word" and an "after word", and the other person or people try to guess the "middle word". The only rule is that when you put the "before word" in front of the "middle word", the pair makes logical sense, and when you put the "after word" after the "middle word", that pair also makes logical sense. A few examples will show how simple it is:
Person 1 says: "the before word is ice and the after word is rink"
Person 1 guess the answer (middle word): "skating"
"Skating" is the answer because "ice skating" makes a phrase and "skating rink" makes a phrase.
Another example:
Before word: "golf", After word: "sandwich"
Answer (middle word): "club"
Again, "club" is the answer because "golf club" and "club sandwich" both make sense.
That's all there is to it! These can be as difficult or as easy as you like. Before and After clues can be a little harder to make at first than the rhyme game clues, but you'll get the hang of it quickly. If you want to make it a little easier, you can do "before and before" or "after and after". In those cases, you would just give two before clues, or two after clues, instead of one of each. For example:
Before words: "house" and "collar"
Answer "dog", because "dog house" and "dog collar" both make sense.
Well that's it! I hope you guys will enjoy these games. Please reply and share other fun games that can be played anywhere!
